Xavier the mover was amazing and very professional however showed up at 10:50AM when I had requested 12-1 show up. I also hired 2 movers for 2 hours. Xavier was the only one that came. He hustled for an hour and half getting all my boxes in but when I requested 2 movers because specifically to make sure my bedroom set was put together within the 2 hours at that point I knew it was NOT getting done. When I spoke with HireAHelper we went over what i had in my POD and specifically wanted my bedroom set to be put together. They said 2 movers in 2 hours was plenty. I am not sure if it was more the mover wanted to get out because we were now going into hour 3 or if he was not sure how to put bed together and had everything messed up. I finally asked him to stop. I will NEVER use HireAHelper or Absolute Best Mover again or would I recommend them to anyone

This is the 4th time that I have used SML and would highly recommend this service to anyone who wants a premium service for a fraction of the cost of a conventional relocation service. In fact, I have already scheduled the 2nd portion of my move in Dec with SML.
If you are capable to drive a large vehicle on a household move, SML is the right choice. You pack and load my rented truck.....I drive.....in this case 700 might and then SML meets me at my destination and unloads me..I'm saving 75% over the quotes that I received from traditional moving companies.

David did a great job for us. He easily did 90 percent of the work himself and would have moved the last piece too, but he needed another person to help. We would recommend David to anyone and would welcome his help again!

My movers were on time, professional, careful with my belongings and got the loading done in less time than I anticipated. I was very pleased.

The guys showed up at different times, appeared to have very little to no experience with moving furniture as the damaged nearly every piece of wood furniture I have. serval pieces look like they were just dragged across the concreate and the edges and corners are all ground off. They did not rebuild the furniture that was taken apart. they demanded a cash tip instead of a tip through the service they threw all the packing materials into the bushes instead of taking it to the dumpster. one guy spent more time taking breaks and talking on his phone while the other one was trying to work. just and overall bad experience. now I'll have to rely on the insurance to try and repair the damages.
