I would call them Absolutely the Worst Movers! The only good thing is that they actually showed up on time. They were completely ill prepared for the job even after I called the day before and asked them to bring plastic wrap for our two couches and some extra tape because we were running low, they brought nothing with them. Not even tools and it was included in their job contract that they would need to take apart several beds. I provided them with over 60 moving blankets and asked them to wrap everything yet they wrapped nothing unless I was at their side specifically telling them to wrap it. The truck was packed completely wrong and was only 3/4 full when he told me that I would need to get a pod for the remainder of my items! What? I’ve moved nine times in 11 years and I know what a packed truck looks like and this was shoddy work, they were lazy and slow. When I called their “supervisor “ to complain, I am certain that the voice that picked up was actually the man at my home., just going under a different name. I sent him photos of their job and told him how displeased I was and he promised to make good but I never heard from him again even after repeated attempts to reach him. I actually hired two movers from a different company the next day to come and unload the truck and repack it again. I’ve never been so disgusted with hired help in my life! These guys actually admitted to me that two of them had only been on the job a week and the other one 1 1/2 months. They had no supervisor to help them and obviously no training. “Hire a Helper” needs to vet the people that they recommend before they put them on their website. And now to make matters worse, I need to go through documentation, sending pictures, and gathering receipts to prove their shoddy work to “Hire a Helper” in order to get my money back. Never again! Next time I’m hiring real professionals.
