I got a text message from Wise Moving company the day before the move. That read 4:26pm “Hello Tawana, The movers will need to start the move at 10 AM. And we need to make you aware that the move is for 2 hours. We can't hold the crew later than 10 start time. Thank you” I then called and asked why I wouldn’t be able to go over 2 hrs? She stated that they have an emergency move and I only booked for two. Which when you book you pay for two and then it shows the amount you would have to pay for anything extra. I called because I thought it was unprofessional to call(didn’t answer, I was at work) and then text the day before. I get a text after the conversation on the phone that reads (copy and paste) “Thank you Tawana, You had scheduled the move thru Hireahelper and they collect for the hours for the move. So we can only use the labor that was paid for. On the move.” I sent a text back that reads (copy and paste) “I've already talked to someone about this.” I am at work this whole time. At 5:56 pm (which came through at a later time, I’m an RRT in the medical field so sometimes parts of the hospital doesn’t pick up service)I get a text the reads (copy and paste) “This move has been cancelled as we cannot accommodate a later start time or more time past the 2 hrs HireAHelper has been made aware.” My response back (copy and paste) “ I didn't ask for a later start nor did I tell you to cancel because I would take longer than two. You came up with a reason and decided that upon yourself. ” They were or SHE was very unprofessional. I work long shifts and was dealing with very sick patients. I just so happen to have a quick moment to talk. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have known until I got home later that night. If I could give zero stars I would.
Great guys came by and helped me quickly pack and load my stuff. They were even nice enough to help me throw out some trash and back-in park my truck so it would be easier for me to get out.

After booking with us you will receive a call the same day during business hours. We will ask you additional questions about your moving needs. The more detail provided the better the moving experience. Once we have confirmed all of your information we will send you our crucial moving tips to have you ready for your move day.
On move day the crew will call you in the morning to ask if you need any additional supplies and again confirm your moving details that you booked with. Shortly after you will start receiving notifications that the crew is en route and when they arrive. Once the crew is on site they will do a walk through and ask about what belongings are to be moved and let you know if there might be any troublesome areas of the home or office building. After the walk through the work begins and moves quickly.
Being organized prior to move day is crucial. Not only for the moving crew but for the customer as well. Label all belongings with colored duct tape that will be moved. This makes load time go much faster. Make sure all boxes are sealed and not overflowing. It is always best to empty out all drawers, file cabinets and shelving prior to move day. If you are moving appliances always disconnect and thaw the appliances at least 24 hrs before move day. The last thing you want is having water damage.

What we love about being a mover is being able to help those that can't physically move themselves. Everyone moves at some point in their lives but because of the physical demand that it requires without proper training you can do a lot of harm to your body. We love talking with our customers and really getting to know the person and not just the items. People are amazing and we love hearing their stories.
We have a 2 part training system. Part one is the physical training of proper furniture disassemble/ reassemble, going up and down 3 flights of stairs with sharp turns carrying 100 lbs in their hands repeatedly, proper furniture protection for various types of standard and unique furniture pieces. All of our crew members must log a min. of 60hrs of physical training before they go into a customers home. Part two is the written aspect. Each crew member is given material about company policies and pass a test
