The two workers - Billy & Tom - were great!! They arrived exactly on time, got right to work, and were very organized and thorough. The day they came to help my husband in dismantling larger furniture items (pool table, dining room table, etc.) and pre-stage boxes and furniture into our garage. Saturday they are coming back again to load a POD for us. I would most definitely recommend Family Movers - their workers are courteous, knowledgeable about their trade, and were a HUGE help to us!!

The movers did a fantastic job. Helped me open a paint can so I could make a quick touch up before installing my washer/dryer. I had been trying to days to open the can. They were very careful with my furniture, were prompt and tidy. I highly recommend their services!

I got a friendly phone call 36 hours before my scheduled appointment to confirm. When the 2 movers showed up they were extremely friendly and asked me if there was anything special I needed. Then we did a quick walk thru the house so they knew where to place all the items. The items were placed exactly where I asked and I even had them rearrange a few items which they were glad to accommodate. They had some complicated stairs to go up which did not bother them. They did not hit any of the walls with the furniture. A project I expected to be a 3 hour job ended up only taking 90 minutes. I greatly appreciate their timeliness and attention to detail. I will be recommending Family Movers again. And a special thank you to William who was very kind.

Billy and Tom were very professional and worked very hard to make sure my POD was packed well. I had plenty of boxes along with my furniture. They packed so I could get almost everything in that needed to go. I am moving cross country and feel that my household goods will get there with little worry of damage. I am taking just what I need when I arrive in my car which makes me happy. I left a couple of things for the new owner which just couldn't fit in and her parents were pleased with what I left. I would definitely recommend Family Movers.

The two men arrived on time and were very good to work with. They were organized, prepared and quickly came up with the best way to proceed with moving my household items into our storage pod. They were careful with my furniture and boxes, and did a great job of fitting everything into the limited space in the pod. I highly recommend them.

What a terrific bunch! From the confirmation phone call 2 days before, to the heads up that they were almost at the destination to the wonderful and efficient job they did unpacking my POD, Billy, Dakota and Tom did an exceptional job. They were quick and efficient and asked where I wanted each item placed and were done in record time. If I could give then 10 stars I would. I highly recommend this mover.

Essentially the same as review for "loading POD". Crew took great pains returning items to positions that owners desired in garage and were very careful about new garage floor new garage paintwork.

What types of moves have you handled?
We are both labor and full service, for commercial, and residential. We also work for a Restoration company. We do a lot of Fire, Water, Mold where we clear out effected homes, then when the work in the home is done, we move it all back in. And set things back up.

Basic lifting techniques, communication between Movers, proper packing and padding techniques...
