The one star is not for the moving company.. they were great. It’s about Hire A Helper LLC.I was charged $750 for 2 hours of work. When I called the LLC, they told me that a supervisor would call back and discuss a discount. They then immediately charged me the full amount without consent. Your scheduling service will never receive my business again.. and I’ll find every review site I can to give you a horrible rating. Absolute grifters. My credit card company will be in touch.

They were early, after calling us to make sure it was okay! They worked carefully and efficiently too. Ivan and Carlos were great and gave us a helping hand on a couple of things….we didn’t have 2 hours-worth of moving and they stayed to help until their time was up.

They arrived within the window of the original request. They kept me informed of when they were arriving. They came prepared with wrap and carts. We had our own supply as well. What impressed me was how well and how quickly they wrapped furniture that we thought would be difficult to handle. And they got it done and loaded quickly. Polite, respectful, easy to communicate with.
We expect to have our moving cubes picked up sooner than expected, thanks to them.

The 2 man crew was efficient with their time but also careful. They made sure to wrap everything properly and were mindful of the walls when moving furniture. Their POD packing was great! We had a lot of odd shaped items and they made it all fit. They were also on time, very friendly and comminucative.
I recommend this group over others (we used another group for a different time and they were not as good as the Lucky Movers guys).

Both workers were fantastic. They took extra care for my furniture and property. Ivan called me to let me know they arrived early. They took their time to wrap all my furniture and moved everything slowly to assure there was no damage.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Expect a call from us within a couple days. Feel free to call, email or text us as well.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Expect us to come on time, be fully prepared and fully equipped on your moving day. We might give you a call upon our arrival to confirm the arrival time. Expect courteous and professional work by our movers.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure to prepare a few moving blankets and may be a plastic bag for your matress. We will deliver the rest for your move.
What types of moves have you handled?
Currently we handle local and long distance moves going as far as 300 miles
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
It's meeting new people every day and seeing new places. Some workout is also big plus.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We train our movers to be precisly polite and respectful to the customer's household and its belongings. New members learn at first how to wrap and protect and handle the things. Maneuvering and moving large furniture skills next. We train our movers how to pack a pod or truck like playing the tetris game.
