Whether it was hireahelper fault or theirs, they said 3 hours would be enough. It took 8+ hours. Their initial fee was the lowest of the options but the hourly charge after was the most. Movers didn’t speak English at all which made it Very difficult to communicate. They would pack things that didn’t need to be packed which let to a longer move time. I asked for wardrobe boxes and they filled it up with random stuff after I told/showed them my clothes that need to be hung. However they were nice guys and packed my belongings safely. All in all I wouldn’t book again.

Hello Joe, we apologize if you were not satisfied with our service. Unfortunately you booked our service though Hire a Helper, I believe when you booked our service you spoke with their customer service and this is probably when they recommended you to book for 3 hours, but once we received your order our Project Manager contacted you to let you know that according to our experience we needed you to start your job in the morning. The reason for that is due to the description of your job, it was a big job and it was going to take us around 7-8 hours to complete but you didn’t want to start earlier and as we told you, we completed your job in about 8 hours. Our movers actually do speak English well, but we apologize if their accent makes things difficult for you. Our supervisor also mentioned that you packed your own clothes in the wardrobe boxes, all that the movers did was close up boxes that were left open and put displays in speed packs. We are sad to hear that you would not book again.

Amazing! Santiago and Bonito are truly terrific guys and movers! They started work the second they arrived and did not stop until they left. Also, they are “pod specialists” and did a phenomenal job of loading it.

Moving is always a tiring and stressful time, hiring help is supposed to help relive the stress not add to it, in the case of Rigos Moving & Storage they definitely added to our stress -- and we had to pay extra for it!
First, they were 2 hours late and while I can understand being behind schedule, being late was the first indication of the poor service we received. Then, the 3 workers that arrived were sullen, only one of them actually spoke to my husband, the other two barely listened as he explained how he had mapped out were items would be loaded into the container to limit damage. Rather than do as was asked they more or less piled things in the storage container randomly, with heavy boxes on top of boxes marked fragile. We ended up having to reorganize the container as best we could after they left but until if finally arrives at our destination we have no idea how much damage has been done to our things.
The final straw for me is the policy Rigos has of not refunding any unused time that has been scheduled. They can be 2 hours late but when the work was finished in 1.5 hours instead of 3 their policy allows them to keep my money adding insult to injury for the shoddy work this crew did. If you hire this crew be VERY careful. Read all the fine print and schedule fewer workers for less time than you think you will need. Better to add an extra hour than to be completely ripped off by this company's policy to keep your money for time not used. As I said, moving is stressful, and expensive, people who hire help are often those without the strength and resources to do the work themselves and this company takes full advantage of that.

Hello Lisa, I apologize if you were not satisfied with our service here at Rigo's Moving & Storage. We are a mobile company and we apologize if we were not at your move at the time you had scheduled. Unfortunately sometimes we have some delays at our previous jobs due to some jobs taking longer than expected as sometimes clients are not ready for the move, rental truck company or storage delivery company have delay at their end and we can not walk out the job site without completing the job but our dispatcher is always on top of each move to avoid delays and as soon we notice we are behind on schedule we always inform our customers about our delay. Our movers were not sullen at all. When the movers arrived your husband had taped where he wanted everything placed and our movers understood the directions your husband had asked for but there were complications because of the other items that were still left out. Our movers brought this to your husband's attention and your husband stated "place them wherever they fit". Our customers always have the last word and our movers did their best to load the truck by following directions. Regarding the refunding of unused time, you booked through HIREAHELPER. This is a HIREAHELPER's policy so we can not be held responsible if you received your refund or not, as you paid through them. We do not have any hidden fees also. We apologize if you felt stressed throughout the whole move but our movers made sure to listen to your instructions and we do not in any way take advantage of our clients or rip them off in any way.

Very well done!
The guys arrived promptly and loaded my moving van like the pros that they are.
They were courteous and listened to my directions making the move-out go smoothly. They were especially careful with the three steps out my front door and did not bounce my stuff down any of the steps. Yep, I was watching and was very impressed.
My stuff was well loaded and packed and arrived safely. Even my potted plants made the move without any problems.

Rigo's Moving and Storage personnel were amazing! From the first contact to updates and a last minute change in my needs, Martha was there for me! When Javier, Santiago, and Jacob showed up on time to load my POD; they were fearless that they could get everything in and not leave anything behind. They got everything in and secured on time. They were very polite, kind, personable, and professional. I have already highly recommended this moving company to friends and will continue to do so. I would use them again!

They were 40 minutes late. The lead guy had a poor attitude, the rest of the crew were very helpful.
Some of our items broke($300 fishing pole) due to poor packing. They lost screws and parts to furniture they dismantled. They lost the tube to our blower. They also loaded our fire pit with ashes in it, and did not let us know before loading it. We should have cleaned it, but it was very hectic and that was overlooked. Would have been nice for them to at least bring it to our attention. Most of our stuff had ashes on it.
They were careless with items .
We would NOT use them again.

We apologize if your expectations here at Rigo's were not exceeded but unfortunately as a mobile company we have the inconvenience of unusual traffic some days, we dispatch our movers one hour before to each job but sometimes accidents, road repairs, breakdown vehicles, etc make our movers spend more time on travel than the usual time. Our supervisor mentioned that everything was going smoothly and made sure to load your packed items into the truck with caution. He also mentioned that once he informed you about needing a second truck because everything was not going to fit in the truck, things started going downhill and you were not happy about that. I understand adding a second truck means the expenses do double and that’s one reason we always tried to fit everything in one truck or container but in this case due to all the items that you had we had to use a second truck. One of our top priorities is to make sure our movers are always kind and helpful, we apologize if you thought our supervisor had a poor attitude.

We are a professional moving company where our clients always come first. Our customers can expect an amazing job outcome by our movers because we are trained and have the proper materials needed for the job.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Our customers can expect a well prepared crew with all the materials needed for their move. They can also expect to be stress free during their move because of how reliable our movers are.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Customers should prepare for the day of the move depending on what services they get/want. We reccomend that clients remove clothing from drawers, wardrobes, etc, to make the items less heavy for our movers. Always label your boxes. We also recommend to speak with our project manager about materials needed for the job to have them ready for the day of the move. Lastly, feel free to ask questions with our project manager about any concerns to be informed on what to do the day of the move.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Our favorite part of being a mover is seeing the relief on our clients face after getting the job done. We love being able to make our clients move stress free as much as possible.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We provide all of our employees with a one month training program at our head quarters to help them gain experience by teaching them good communication skills, how to pack fragile items into boxes, move heavy items using the proper equipment, stack the trucks or containers using every inch of space, etc.

The health of our customers and employees is our top priority We provide Face Mask, Gloves, Hand Sanitizer and any other Safety equipment on every job., (always included, no fee)
Hand tools for assembly:
We provide basic Heavy Duty Tools, (always included, no fee)
Hand truck:
We provide a Heavy Duty Hand Truck, (always included, no fee)
Plastic wrap:
We provide plastic wrap for 2-3 furniture items, any additional plastic wrap used will be a $35.21 dollar charge., ($35.21/ea.)
Rope:
We always provide straps to load/unload (we will need them back or a fee will be applied), If is Load only we recommend you to ask about our packing materials prices., ($7.04/ea.)
