What can a customer expect after booking with you?
You'll get a welcome call from us to finalize details for your move and a confirmation email for your service. We want you to feel comfortable reaching out with any questions or concerns about your move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Efficiency and transparency. John/movers will take time to assess your location, items, and any contingencies that weren't planned ahead of time. We work to take care of your items and to be proficient with our time. Communication is a priority to us all during your move, and you can expect to be kept in the loop. A final walk through will ensure all your items have made it to their new home, and that the gear we brought isn't left behind.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The terms and conditions on our webpage has a full list of packing prep tips! Mostly we recommend to cautiously pack boxes so they're balanced and no items shift around. Loose items should be packed in boxes, and fragile items should be labeled and wrapped/boxed. Shelves and drawers should be emptied, and furniture too large to fit through halls/doors could be disassembled prior to move date. Keep walkways/workspace clear of clutter. Have all items packed/ready to move, no loose items scattered to collect.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled a variety of moves including local, long distance, office space, place of business/commercial moves, pianos/large furniture, packing jobs, artwork and precious items, storage to storage, appliances, and multi-day moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My (John's) favorite parts would include getting to travel around and meet new people, getting to help someone take a stressful situation and make it better, and facing new problems with a solution oriented mindset.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Working interviews and on the job training. Most movers we hire have previous training from their work history.
