They were pretty much on time. I did expect them to give me more than the time I booked and they did but the job never got done which was stressful for me. In all fairness to them I probably should not have expected more time but other movers I have gotten through HireAHelper stayed longer (for their extra hourly rate, of course) but that was at night. H&M had another job booked after mine. The men were polite enough but not friendly. They did whatever I asked. One of them accidentally broke something (while I was standing next to him) and did not say a word, no apology. I know I could have asked for reimbursement but honestly, did not want to go through the hassle of it. Overall, I would recommend them because they do an adequate job- just not a superior one.

The H&M "crew" sent to help me with my move last week couldn't be more wonderful. The crew arrived exactly on time. Professionally and compassionately, they completed the job (which included a 3 story walk-up) in less than 2 hours! They meticuluosly packed the items that required some padding and filled my POD in such a way that prevented shifting of items. I have moved several times in the past 10 years and I can say- this crew was the BEST. I plan on using them again and would highly recommend to anyone needing movers.

The company H&M sent two very professional movers Ray and Anthony to load our truck. They were prompt and ready to work. After carefully arranging and securing every item, this team left us feeling great about our journey ahead.We highly recommend using this company and again, job WELL DONE!

This is the First Time I have ever hired anyone to load up a truck for a move but since I have a bad back and neck I knew I couldn't lift any thing. I thought I would end up regreting it but was I EVER SO WRONG.
We hired 4 guys for 3 hrs because of the amount of things we had to pack and thinking that we would get some part-time help that really didn't care.
The morning didn't start so good as they were a little late arriving BUT the crew expland why and was understandable as to why they were late. They came in and I explained to them how and why I needed the truck pack and ALL 4 guys got right to work without any questions.They checked with me or my wife with everything they weren't sure of just to make sure they got it right.
All 4 guys bust their back sides. If fact I even tried to get them to take a 10 min break and they just kept working.
They Had the truck loaded and locked for the move in 2 hours.Everything was packed with care and what needed or looked like it needed protection they did what they had to to protect that item. They even took the time to tie off sections so that everything didn't not shift during the drive. (that is something I never even thought of myself)
Upon arrival at our New Home and we went to unload the truck EVERYTHING was where the guys had put it and NOTHING was Broken ( trust me we went over some rough roads and construction work on the roads) Unloading of the truck was VERY EASY as the guys made sure everything had been put on the truck the way we needed it.
I CAN'T STRESS enough just how Professional the 4 guys were. They put some big name "Full Time" moving companies to shame.
I Strongly recommend H & M Movers and Ask for Alex, Tony, Barry & Brain they are a great team.
Oh yeah I almost forgot since I paid for 3 hours and it only took 2 I can only hope that their Boss shares that extra hour of pay with the 4 guys, they really did bust their A.... and deserves it.

secure their pets before the move , have a plan if they have young children so as not to be in the way of the movers while the move is in process(Safety Reasons),also secure their immediate personal belongings such as keys, phones, etc. so that they are not misplaced

Meeting different people from different cultures & being able to put smiles on peoples faces during a stressful time
What training do you provide your crew members?
