What a perfect experience! I needed some large furniture moved around in our house, Bennetts was the answer! Their workers were fantastic! The guys were on time, professional, and very friendly. Mostly importantly, they knew what they were doing! Everything was packed and loaded onto the truck with great care. The 370 mile trip went flawlessly! Overall, it was a GREAT experience. We will most like use Bennett's again when we move back to Johnson City. As always, Bennett Movers sent out excellent guys who make moving an experience that is not only stress free, but pleasant! James, Tommy, and Kenny were on time, lightning fast, and incredibly efficient. In addition, they were patient and adaptable to the fact that there were a million contractors tearing my old house apart and getting in their way. Its clear Bennett movers carefully select their employees to properly represent their company. It was a great experience.

The workers were on time, prepared, and they worked hard to get things moved in efficiently. The young men were very helpful in setting up everything that we needed. As a mater of fact they did such a great job, our daughter hired them to help move their items into our house and into a storage unit. Great job gentlemen.

They showed up on time, but I was disappointed from the beginning. They did not appear to be professional, in their board shorts and tennis shoes. They immediately began to question if my things would fit into the POD I had waiting in my driveway. And the one who seemed to be the "foreman" complained the entire time. He either complained about his back, or just working in general. He kept mentioning that he'd been doing this work for over ten years, however seemed to be challenged the entire time. They were instructed when I scheduled the job, again, when they called to confirm the job AND AGAIN, when they called to tell me they were on their way, that they would need to bring tools to help disassemble a bed. They did not have tools and said "they were all gone when (we) left the shop." Excuses. When the PROFESSIONAL at the POD place dropped off my POD, he explained the specific instructions for loading it, and what NOT to do. One thing was NOT to stack boxes to the ceiling, or things below would get crushed from them stacking the PODs. With the FIRST row of boxes they loaded, the "foreman" loaded up to the ceiling and the box was very tightly wedged, with no give beneath or above it. When I stopped him to explain the specific instructions I received from PODs, the "foreman" began to argue with me and what I was told. He kept repeating how experienced he is and how this is how they do it. After ten minutes and him telling me he got his boss on the phone and was told to load the way he was loading, or leave, I told hime "Fine, you're the professional." When the POD was picked up the next day, I asked the POD guy about it (same guy who dropped off and gave me instructions) he was surprised they loaded to the ceiling. He told me to make sure I made record of everything in case there is damage upon unloading. Something else that bothered me was when the "foreman" mentioned that they weren't even from Bennett's Moving, that they were a 3rd party, and not to tell anyone he told me that. Really? I was referred to Hire-A-Helper by PODs. Hire-A-Helper had Bennett's on the top of the list with the most reviews and the most stars. I thought I did my homework. Apparently anything can happen and all it takes is ONE bad apple to ruin the barrel. Very disappointed in the service I received from those "helpers."

They were on time and worked hard. They took very good care of my furniture and packed things taking consideration of the weight as they stacked things. I would use them again. The only down side was that sometimes they did not receive suggestions too well, but they were still very polite. This is understandable given they do this all the time and I do not, however, I am a pretty smart lady with good ideas. That being said, I would definitely use them again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
You will receive a confirmation call from our friendly office staff within 24 hrs. of booking your request. They will go over the details and address an questions or concerns you may have. We also do a confirmation call the day before your move, just to check in and make sure everything is still on schedule and re-confirm address and start times.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day your crew leader will give you a call at least 30 minutes out. Please let them know if there are any special parking instructions or changes. Our crews bring dollies with them on all jobs. They will also bring a protection package including rope, tape, and plastic shrink wrap available for purchase if you would like to utilize our supplies.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please make sure to provide at least 1 moving blanket for each Item of furniture we will be loading. The crew will utilize them to protect your cherished belongings from any damage during your drive.
What types of moves have you handled?
We are a full service moving company. We can handle any type of moving help you may need. We do local and long distance loading/ unloading. No job is too big or too small.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part of being a mover is the customers. We have met so many great people over the years. We have hundreds of repeat customers. It always great to see them again and see how their family's have grown or changed.We know moving is stressful so we do our absolute best to make our part as easy and seamless as possible.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew members are thoroughly background checked before they are hired. Upon being hired we make sure they are fully trained and able to complete the work before they step a foot into the first home.
