Failed to tie up load properly. When the load arrived, some items had shifted. One POD could not be opened uñtil the unloaders had ti reach up and push the load away from the door. The first POD was loaded tight but the second POD had furniture thrown in with little stacking.

Mover's response:

The first load was all indoor furniture, which u said was packed tight. Nothing was obviously broken or I'm sure you would have mentioned it. The second load was irregular shaped items, ladder, outdoor furniture, garage stuff, sofa tables from in your house. The last item was a heavy piece which I did not recommend putting on the end near the top of the 2nd pod, you literally told me to "throw it up there." . I dont like mixing garage with indoor furniture but we were forced to(a lot of stuff

Doug and Dylan showed up on time after my original movers quit on another job, and Hire A Helper rounded up Onward Moving Service as a replacement for me in a hurry on my scheduled moving day. The movers were very careful with my belongings--did not ding a door or wall, and placed everything wherever I asked them to. They unloaded my PODS within the two hours, put my bed together, and hooked up my Washer. I highly recommend Doug and his service!

They were courteous and respectful. They communicated well, arrived on time, were well prepared and worked hard. Other than one dropped and broken item, over all, they were careful with our important furnishings and did a good job

Mover's response:

Thanks Cal we enjoyed unloading your truck. A good percentage of the items on the truck were not boxed ( a lot of loose items). (80 percent maybe). We were really surprised when we opened the truck (the number of small loose items not packed). This can add to the chance of something being dropped accidentally.
