They worked hard beginning to finish. I would hire them again if we were still in the area. They were very accommodating to my instructions and requests. If you want a crew to do what you ask and not just what and how they want things to be done, I highly recommend them.

Had 2 people hired…1st was 15 min late, 2nd was 30 min late, but the office send out a 3 rd person to help. They loaded everything in 3 hrs! I was impressed! Tips were given! Thank you for the easy to order job….they certainly knew what they were doing!

They movers were supposed to be there at 11:00. They should up at 11:14. They immediately complained when I showed them around. They took off for a several minutes to get equipment. This took 10 min plus. Not a thing was moved till after 11:30. They constantly complained and needed me to help as they were “tired from the week.” One of the movers had a band hand and couldn’t lift more than 10#. I assisted the entire time and there were times that they were both taking breaks while I was working and sweating. I’m still not sure why breaks were needed when they were late and not working and in such a short time.

About 1:30 the owner showed up. I’m the 20min he was there more was down than in the 2 hours the other two were there. I was then told I would owe kore money for additional hours needed. This is wrong. I did pay it.

When I was helping the movers move a deadlift platform out of my garage gym since it was “too big and heavy for them” and I I was pushed out of the truck and fell backwards and hurt my leg. I kept moving things as work was not getting done. I since went to the ER because I couldn’t walk.

I have nothing but horrible things to say over my experience and then to be charged more and not credited for the wasted money and time.

I had used movers from another company to love in and they were amazing. I’d NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

I am sorry you feel this way Marcus. We strive to provide good service. The reason we ask questions is to find out what we are moving. We were highly misinformed about the "Home Gym". It was more of a professional gym. 2nd When the owner showed up there was NO mention of you injuring yourself. 3rd YOU were only charged 3 hours and NOT billed for the third person or the 4th hr. So advice be more forthright with the movers that are helping you and this will help them get the job done.

Unfortunately, the workers were late. Several days before move day, I was was called on the phone and told they would be there at 1:00. Then the day before move day, while driving the moving van to the destination, I was texted that that they would be there between 1:30 and 2. Eventually they showed up closer to 2:30 without any future updates. Unable to make changes to my plans by that point, I was stuck waiting in the sun at the storage unit for over an hour to let them in. I blame this on the dispatcher.
They did come prepared and did work hard on a very hot day. I would probably use them again, but the dispatcher needs to provided a better way to communicate.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

First a phone call. Verify move details. Contact # and get permission to text. Add to our moving schedule. Customer will receive text (if authorized) and email notifications regarding appointment time. They will receive text reminder the night before moving and an on my way text when movers are on their way to location. The notification text can be used to communicate with the owner 24/7.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

On time arrival. Walk through the home and find out customers desires for location of items. A MOVING & COMPANY will unload or load items. All you as a customer needs to do is point and direct when needed and we will do the rest. A MOVING COMPANY is dedicated to giving you the customer service and peace of mind that your items are safe. Most importantly you will receive honesty, integrity and hard work and the Value you expect.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

The best thing that customers can do for themselves and their movers is color code rooms and its contents. Then color code the rooms at the new location. This will make unloading very easy for you, and your movers. Have a game plan on what your expecting. Have any questions you may have ready for your movers. A MOVING & COMPANY owner is available 24/7 to answer these for you via text message.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have done hundreds of Local Moves with 5-star ratings. We also have done long distance moves with NO DAMAGES and most of all affordable. We have done office relocations. We also do Furniture and appliance store pick-ups and deliveries. We have also done furniture removals and drop offs to second hand stores.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Message from the owner; I get asked why I chose moving as my Career? It's hard work and not fun! MY answer is this, I love the look of excitement and relief on A Moving Customers face when we unload there last box into their new home. The look on there face when we load up the last item on the truck and they did not think their things would fit. The review when A Moving & Company gets to their destination and there items arrived in one piece and undamaged.

What training do you provide your crew members?

Every crew member of A MOVING & COMPANY gets 2 weeks on the job training with the owner. Moving is not just moving items it is also customer service. Once they satisfactorily completed the Movers training. Then they are also trained as a lead mover and responsible for whole move from beginning to end. This and all training are done with the owner only. We have strict drug and alcohol policy as well as customer service.

We charge an extra 15% for same day requests.

Next Day Moves

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

Refunding Unused Time

We do not refund for any unused time.

Extra Hours

We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
