The movers were prepared and on time, and ultimately got the job done. They worked hard and were friendly, although without uniforms so we were unsure if they worked with the company until later. A few boxes were in the wrong locations which was fine.
Unfortunately we had a few issues. First, they just randomly appeared at our doorstep without introduction or proof of identification. During the move, they said they were unable to move our boxspring upstairs due to tight corridors, but we were able to do it ourselves without difficulty. After the move, we noticed a couple pieces of furniture were damaged. Lastly, one of our closet doors was significantly damaged without us being notified, now having a 2cm x 2cm hole.
Would not recommend in the future.

They were 3 hours late. but the job before us was more the expected. We understood their predicament there. They did great bringing in furniture. As we are renovating our house all boxes went into the garage. After they left, it looks like the boxes were thrown onto everything. No consideration for things marked fragile. This was my only frustration with the movers

There was a small delay due to the rain, but these guys were great! Once they got started they didn’t stop. They moved everything and got out trailer packed perfectly.

They stayed in communication. Their earlier job ran over so they arrived quite late. But we felt fortunate they could book us the same day, on VERY short notice. They were polite, fast, and we were so thankful for the help!!

Universal Movers were incredible! We needed help unpacking a 16’ POD and they were able to do it in even less than the 2 hours we expected. Will definitely be using them for any heavy lifting needs in the future!
