What can a customer expect after booking with you?

We will give you a call to confirm the details of the move, the timing, and what services you require.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

For moves scheduled in the morning, we arrive at 9 AM to begin the move. If the afternoon slot is chosen, we will provide a time window for the expected completion time of the morning move, if there is one, and give a quick text as soon as we finish to let you know that we're on our way. If a full day is required for the move, we ask you book with us in the morning.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Make sure you have everything packed up in boxes, furniture disassembled (if you don't want us to handle it for you), any appliances disconnected and washer and dryer serviced. We wrap everything by default, but try to be flexible for what is most important to you. If you want to save money on the move and not wrap certain things, maybe it's already pretty scratched up and you just need it brought to the new house, let us know! Just be aware that we can't cover damage on items that you elect not to wrap.

What types of moves have you handled?

We offer loading and unloading of rented trucks, pods, furniture assembly and disassembly, professional packing, and heavy item moving, up to 300 lbs.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Making customers happy! I love being part of the community, meeting people and having a discussion about interests and life for a couple hours, and going home knowing that we helped ease one of the most stressful parts of someones life. I'm also a big fan of the people in northern Westchester, we are often offered water and food on the job, which is always something we're grateful for during a physically demanding move. I like to think of my our unofficial company slogan as "good people helping good people"

What training do you provide your crew members?

We go over the basics of lifting, wrapping furniture the right way, how to pack boxes to keep things safe. We go over how to use the basic tools on the job and how to interact with customers. Moving is the most stressful experience in someone's life, so we hire people who are helpful, respectful and customer service oriented. We also go over how to load a truck, to keep things tight and secure, and why we do things a certain way.
