I talked to Johny (the owner) in the morning to confirm the time that his movers would be there. He asked if I needed them to bring stuff to wrap the furniture with and I said yes, and I also requested they bring a hand truck as I didn’t have one of those either. The movers arrived a bit earlier than expected, but it was fine. One of the first pieces of furniture they moved was a wardrobe out of my room. Once outside with it, my mother heard a loud sound and she went out to investigate what happened. She saw one of the doors to my wardrobe opened and she closed it. She told the two men that they should be wrapping my furniture prior to moving the pieces as a few of them have doors that can swing open. They began moving the item again without wrapping it and the door swung open again and broke off. Johny came by after they moved just about everything into my new place. I explained to him how upset I was by their careless actions and he definitely agreed they were careless and apologized. But he said he would only cover up to $60 to repair the item. I got an estimate from a friend of mine who is a master carpenter in my area and he says it’ll be a lot more to fix it. Currently have a claim going to try and take care of this. If they wouldn’t had been so careless to begin with, they would’ve been fine to use otherwise. They were prompt on time and hard working the entire time, just be careful and keep a watchful eye if you use them.

Key Moving was awesome! The employees who moved my things were very professional In every way. I was so impressed with how they packed everything into the Pod I had that I will definitely use them once again to unpack the Pod when moving into my new home. Great experience with this moving company. They showed up promptly at 9am, and called me. I was a little late and driving the rented 26 foot Penske truck over. They didn't desert me and worked steadily and long for the 3 hours it took to unload my 15 by 15 foot storage. They applied blankets to the cabinets and shrink wrapped them tight. The followed my directions perfectly. They tied down my household cargo with bungee cords so it wouldn't shift from Florida to Georgia. A very good and motivated team of professional movers. Highly recommended if you want a move without worries.
