To say that I am dissatisfied with services rendered would be stating it lightly. To begin, the movers that showed up to my home seemed to be under the influence as I could smell marijuana on them. Second, they said that they were instructed to move a 2-bedroom home and the order was for a 4-bedroom home including storage. Third, as they began to move items out of my home, they were extremely rough with my furniture causing damage to much of my furniture (pictures included on this email). Along with the damage to my furniture, they were ripping items open and stacking heavy boxes on top of boxes that were labeled FRAGILE. At one point, they were literally throwing boxes in the moving trailer. Fourth, they did not utilize the space in the moving trailer to the best of their ability. A 28' moving trailer was rented and they left plenty of voids that could have easily been used for items. Fifth, the service was for 2 hours and they went over 2 more hours requiring an extra $250 to be paid via PayPal (invoice included in the email). Sixth, after 4 hours, they failed to load all of my household in the trailer and at that point, I asked them to leave. Upon them leaving, I had to unload the majority of what was loaded and repack the trailer myself to insure all my household would fit. By the way, the mover said they could not get everything in and that was proven to be incorrect as I was able to put everything in the moving trailer. Finally, the two men were very unprofessional in the vulgarity of their language and the fact that they just did not treat our household items with respect. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
Don’t even try to resolve anything with Hire-A-Helper. I filed a claim on damaged items and all they were willing to offer was a $100 for my inconvenience. So, if you want poor service… THIS IS THE COMPANY YOU WANT!

The three guys that showed up knew how to load a truck!! One of my guys that unloaded my truck even stated that is was packed impeccably! The guys were on-time, friendly, and they were very careful with all of my things! You will definitely be in good hands if you hire them to load, deliver, or unload….or all three!! Thanks guys for doing an AMAZING JOB!!
