The crew was an hour late, but they called to notify me. They were helpful, but not particularly careful with my furniture. Their packing of the truck was not secure, and I was forced to stop and repack the load within two blocks when the chairs which they had tied down became loose with the first bump. They were reluctant to use furniture pads even when I encouraged them, relying on unpadded wood furniture to be "wedged together." The furniture suffered cosmetic damage and one unrestrained piece of glass was broken. Could have done better.

Our movers went above and beyond what was needed. The move took much longer then we thought and both movers were friendly and very cooperative. They made our move a lot smoother.

Arrived on time, worked quickly without taking a break, took direction without any issues. Appeared to be very experienced; knew what they were doing. Highly recommend these 2 workers. Will probably use again at the new house to unload the pod unit.

I hired 4 movers for 4 hours. The team showed up on time . Actually, I was ready early and called to see if the team could get to my house sooner, and they were able to come earlier which was helpful. I had 8 U-boxes to be loaded. They quickly got to work and did a great job wrapping and protecting the furniture, and getting the household items and boxes safely loaded into the crates.
They worked very hard and were very friendly throughout despite the 90+ degree heat that day. I would definitely use Illinois Valley Movers again.
