Jon's Friendly Movers did an awesome job! Especially considering the low rate.. The two young men were punctual, worked efficiently and they were very strong.. I was more than comfortable with how that arranged my belongings onto the truck so neat and safe.. I would definitely hire them again??

Hire a Helper seems like a good deal, but if you value your belongings you will go with a legit moving company. I used Hire a Helper to load up my house. The company I used did great in the beginning, but as the truck started to get full they started just throwing things in to make them fit. They took furniture apart without our knowledge and lost the hardware. We had a marble table top covered with plastic and a blanket. The movers removed the blanket to take it apart and didn't put the blanket back on. Table top is ruined now. I contacted Hire a Helper to file a claim and that's when they disclose the fine print. In order to file a claim with Hire a Helper there are certain things thst need to happen. 1. YOU NEED TO PROVIDE A CERTAIN NUMBER OF BLANKETS FOR EACH ITEM. 2. YOU NEED TO USE HIRE A HELPER FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING. 3. YOU HAVE 10 DAYS TO FILE A CLAIM. We moved across country, so by the time our stuff arrived the 10 days was already up. Hire a Helper denied the claim, but offered us 50 dollars to keep our mouths shut. They want you to sign a release stating you will not leave a bad review about them. If you sign the agreement they will send a 50 dollar check. Please don't waste your time with this company, they may be good in the beginning but if something goes wrong, they won't help!

They were hard workers and respectful of my property. They worked efficiently as far as unloading the truck. I would recommend them.

These movers were so good!! They were on time and started work right away, were very careful, and very respectful. Would I recommend them to anyone? Absolutely yes.

They were amazing in how fast they work. They didn't take one box at a time they took five. They put in the extra effort of taking the books off the bookshelves for me. They cleared tables before they took them.
They were very considerate of me and encouraged me to sit and rest and let them do the work.
I have had experience with other movers who didn't do anything unless told to specifically and stayed on their phones. They also charged much more.
Jon's friendly movers are just that. The cost is very reasonable especially for the extra effort they put in.
I obviously can't say enough good things about these guys. How many times do you want to hug your movers when they are done? Well these guys deserve hugs and much more.

They were most certainly prompt and on time. They came prepared for the job and went above and beyond to help us move out of our apartment on the 3rd floor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR MOVING!

These men were phenomenal. They worked fast and the packing of my pod was organized and neat. I have requested these same men to pack my second pod. There are no finer movers especially for the money and quality of work.

The movers did a good job; HOWEVER, they weren’t honest about the time actually spent at the job. MORE IMPORTANTLY, the company practices DECEPTIVE billing methods. I signed up for a moving job online. I immediately received a confirmation email. A few minutes later, I received a 2nd confirmation email. I figured it had been sent in error. Wrong! Each confirmation email message contains a separate job number. Upon completion of the moving job, I completed the DocUSign contract authorizing payment. Several minutes later, I received a telephone call inquiring about the service provided and then requesting payment. I explained that I had just completed payment online. The billing representative stated that they didn’t see it so, they processed the charge again. Upon reviewing my credit card statement, I saw the duplicate charge. I contacted the Hire A Helper customer support center and they explained that I had 2 separate job orders. They then stated that the movers said they spent an extra hour and 15 minutes on the job so, the company planned to deduct that additional charge from the refund due me. I had to forward video from my home door camera to resolve the issue & receive my refund!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone!!!
