They were three hours late, and after the time started, they tried to argue about price. They had to park on the corner because there wasn’t room in front of the apartment, and tried to add the extra distance they had to walk as another set of stairs. I don’t think so. So many extra things they tried to say were “part of the job”, I wasn’t comfortable agreeing to. And I definitely don’t want to argue about them during time I’m paying for. They also asked how I would be paying when I had already given my cc info online to Hire A Helper. Thankfully I had called them and they told me not to give them any money directly, HAH would release the payment to them when they were done.

I have spoken with the foreman on site and learned that he is new to our company and was not fully informed that this was a move through "Hire a Helper." He was operating based on our company's standard policy and charges. Fortunately, he called the office, and we were able to provide him with more detailed information about how this service works.
I hope that despite this misunderstanding, the service provided was great!
