They were on time, very courteous and helpful. I had some large pieces that had to go up a steep, twisty stair case and they managed without nicking the furniture or the walls. Very careful, but quick. I will be using them again.

My husband and I hired Discount Moving and Hauling to load our 3 bedroom home into a 22ft truck. We had previously moved the same contents plus a large couch into a 20 ft truck a year prior and had paid 2 men 2 hours to complete the job so we were confident that 2 hours was more than enough. Unfortunately, this was not the case was DMH.
According to my husband (I was at work) DMH spent as much time thinking about how they were going to move something than they did moving it and as a result hardly any furniture got moved during the two hours we hired them for. While my husband and I admit that they took very good care of our belongings, we were very disappointed with how little DMH achieved.
In addition, my husband told me that they just kept on working through their 2 hours as if they were going to trap us into paying them for more hours. They only left after my husband told them that their two hours was up and that was we were only interested in paying for 2 hours.
To summarize: I would definitely hire DMH if I had many fragile or expensive items. However, we just wanted our stuff to be placed in the moving van and DMS left a lot of work to be done.

They ran 30 minutes late which kind of messed up my plans. But made up for it with all the lifting projects I had them do. They were very nice and professional.
