What can a customer expect after booking with you?

Uniformed workers, box trucks, stretch wrap, tape, tools for assembly and disassembly included. Blankets and straps included on load/unload jobs (not included on load only jobs). Insured and licensed movers who know what they are doing.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

We are timely and prompt movers. We inspect and inventory all items, so that we can treat all of your treasured possessions as if they were your own. Expect experienced moving specialists who know how to assemble and disassemble items, as well as properly blanket wrap and tie down furniture. We know how to stack and load properly, creating tiers in the shipment. Expect friendly customer service and full time movers who care about what they do.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Please disconnect all appliances. Please label all boxes. Clean lawnmowers of grass and debris. Drain gas and oil out of lawnmowers and gas powered equipment Drain garden hoses. Defrost refrigerator 2 days prior if possible. Empty drainage pan underneath. Drain all water out of washing machines 24 hours before Keep personal items of high value (monetary or sentimental) that cannot be replaced easily on yourself More info is in our FAQ section in our contract!

What types of moves have you handled?

We are licensed for intrastate moving (anywhere in California). We do all intrastate moves - SF to LA, local Bay Area moves, storefront moves, office moves, educational institution moves. We have a piano moving department that is separate as well as a safe/vault moving department. We provide assembly and disassembly of furniture, as well as blanket wrap service.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

The opportunity to meet and connect with new people every day. It is also a brain exercise - Moving is like combining the games of tetris + operation. Tetris because you have to puzzle every piece into the truck, operation because of the hand eye coordination and fine motor skills. You have to pretend like you are pulling an Adams apple out with tweezers, trying to not let the buzzer go off, while trying to fit Tetris blocks together

What training do you provide your crew members?

All crew members undergo a 6 month probationary period where they are supervised by co-owners of the company. After 6-12 months, depending on performance, they are offered a chance to get a share of the company, and join as co-owners. We train all movers in packing, blanket wrap, assembly and disassembly, loading trucks, completing paper, work, and of course customer service.
