I hired miracle movers to assist with an unload that I brought out to Pennsylvania from Idaho
Brandon and Daequan did an excellent job. They were on time and very friendly and handled everything with extreme care.
I highly recommend using Miracle Movers.
Thanks!

Let’s just say that these guys exceeded our expectations! We were so thankful for their fast and friendly service. From the time they arrived, they were moving and making sure that each item went to its correct location. For large items, they took their time to make sure that it was unloaded without making damages. They were able to unload a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in less than the 2 hour time frame scheduled. Once again, we are thankful for their fast and elite services!

Brandon, Ceante, and Gerard were great! I was moving on short notice and they were available to help me move. I had a couple heavy items and stairs at each place. They called ahead to tell me they were running a little behind from their first job. They got my move done fast and in 97 degree weather. Would definitely use Brandon, Ceante, and Gerard again! Thanks guys!

Rickera Thorne, whom I assumed managed the crew, was excellent. His helper, Brandon, was a loose cannon at first. He wouldn't listen to suggestions. Since I have moved (8) times in my lifetime, own a 24' trailer with E-Rails and movable ratchet strap E-Rail connectors and floor rings, basically can be used for a car hauler or ATV hauler also.
The trailer was being loaded for two destinations, PA storage facility and next residence in Leisure World. 90% of the items to be moved had already been moved to the trailer. The last 10% would have been easy except for Brandon's attitude.
Rickera must have spoken to Brandon about his attitude because
Brandon made a 180* change.
I am semiretired from IT Consulting & Administration. I had a couple of items that needed to be properly packed and documented. Brandon did not want to wait for me to do that. He kept saying he was tired and wanted to get home. That changed.
It only took Rickera and Brandon 1/2 hour to move the items to the trailer and the unpacked items to the first floor. So, they got paid for two and only worked 1/2 hour. But that was the agreement.

They were very unprofessional and arrived reeking of pot. While marijuana is legal, as is alcohol, anyone who showed up to a workplace inebriated and reeking of either substance would not be working there for long. In addition to that, after I had carefully labeled all my boxes so they could be stacked in similar box styles, in a uniform fashion, with clear labels on most of them, the moment I asked if they could follow that simple organization scheme, I was verbally accosted by the lead moving labor person
I was basically shouted out for "don't tell me how to do my job!!!", and was also similarly told that the job was simply to unload the moving truck into a storage unit, and that unloading it into the storage unit in a way that would be the most useful for me, the client, wasn't their problem essentially. I have never been verbally abused by a hired moving labor helper when working through U-Haul's Moving labor Help in the past. This was unconscionable
Furthermore despite my detailed description which I submitted to the owner of this "moving company", great contention arose as they mistook an organ that I had dismantled to be a hobby project, as a 2nd upright piano. The foreman, immediately yelled about that, saying that that wasn't paid for. Again, I had had no trouble with the load-in side where I used Moving labor Help via UHaul - and they did it all in 90 minutes, graciously and respectfully, and professionally.. Instead, this "lead" person told his two-person sub-crew to stop moving anything and everything, until I agreed to pay more money...I was told that they were just going to leave and leave the stuff on the U-Haul truck
Basically, this would be extortion; and by this time I was on the phone with Hire-A-Helper, and even the Supervisor could hear this foreperson yelling in the background...grousing and complaining about me, to me, but then also loudly grousing and complaining about me to his worker buddies. This is basically abuse, plain and simple, beyond unprofessional, and it was toxic, caustic, disrespectful, and beyond any possible excuse. They ended up leveraging an additional payment out of me, as Hire-A-Helper said that they couldn't do anything about it, and "they were just following the rules". That's a great phrase, especially these days, following all that's going on by so many people who use that phrase. They aren't rules, and it's not that they couldn't do something about it, it's that someone made a choice and they wouldn't do something about it. Someone could have made a different choice or an exception. But they wouldn't
I have moved numerous times in the last handful of years, with much the exact same items - and in EVERY OTHER PREVIOUS SITUATION, my belongings were treated respectfully, my expression of how I wanted to be able to have easy access to know the contents after doing all the prep-work of massive labeling and organizing my things, and things were easy, professional and nothing was ever damaged. Hire A Helper did not back me up fully on this, they vaguely kept saying they "can't" give me a copy of the audio recording of the calls, despite their system saying all the calls are recorded, and I wanted copies of the calls to pursue this further, and to be able to give an even more detailed recounting of this PTSD inducing experience
By the time that they left, after forcing me to pay them more - and the figure was easily twice what I have ever paid for the same exact labor every time in the past even before the additional charges - basically, extortion, and the extreme opposite of Customer Service, in addition to the personal abuse of these extremely unprofessional pot-reeking "workers" - who themselves, were late, coming from a previous job
And that in itself is also harrowing - and illegal...as it means driving while imbibing and driving while intoxicated...the workers who involved themselves in all of this, no apologies, just abusive remarks, were damaged, unkind people without ethics or even basic consideration
And they knew they were "getting away with something (an additional couple hundred bucks), as well as beyond reprehensible behavior, as when they finally emptied the truck into the storage unit - which they almost refused to do, to leave me to take the leftover empty moving boxes and packing blankets into my unit that belonged to me - they got out of there as fast as the could, laughing, and didn't even wait for a tip. As they knew, if anything, they deserved to be docked for their extreme unprofessionalism, abusive and disrespectful treatment of the customer, and doing a shoddy job on top of that. There were numerous times when they took no care to not load a very heavy box on a light box, thereby crushing the lighter box. Every time I tried to point any issue out, I was barked at rudely, acerbically, and arrogantly
Lastly, they had boxes packed behind extremely heavy objects sothat I'll have to spend hours reorganizing the entire unit; which is BS

Brandon and Devon didn’t an outstanding job! Quick and efficient, they placed everything where we requested and took great care of the furniture and walls.
