They were very late for my scheduled move time. I had them scheduled for 9 am, but they didn’t show up until 3:20 pm. They said it was due to another move that delayed them before mine.
They damaged my $4000 refrigerator by dropping it while moving it down a step.

The owner seemed irritated and snapped at my lead foreman when he called to confirm the teams eta and arrival. He said "How many times are you guys going to confirm?" And hung up the phone. The 2 guys that were sent to assist us were fantastic and we were glad to have their help and tipped them $50 apiece for a couple of hours of work and a job well done. When I texted to confirm the night before the owner also responded via text and said someone already confirmed. When I jokingly said, "We are a bit OCD, lol," he didn't respond. He was clearly irritated. His team was late to arrival citing a flat tire en route to the job site.

The movers were great. On time. Good communication via phone and in person. Nice and professional. I am sure they are worth much more than they are probably paid for all their backbreaking labor in the extreme heat. Be sure to tip your movers.
As for the company itself…what’s up with the extra $39 service fee? Didn’t we pay enough up front with the original quote? Seems like a sneaky way to grab more money. ??
But I would hire the actual movers again in a heartbeat. Hardworking guys.

Nice guys made quick work of loading our pod. They were polite and treated our property well. They definitely knew what they were doing using the pod space very efficiently. Only thing I'd recommend when booking them is to underestimate the time it will take to do the job. I paid for 3 hours, but they got it all done within 2. I was happy with their service but would have preferred to not be charged for the extra hour I had booked. Live and learn.

They were over 2hr late and never called to let me know. I had to call them and hireahelper repeatedly just to make sure they’d actually be arriving at some point. I was nervous because
the other hireahelper movers I’d booked for the first part of my move never showed up and never contacted me, leaving me without help day of my move. Because of this last experience, I’d already started unpacking the truck just in case they also didn’t show. As a result, they only had to work for half the time I’d originally booked but they charged me for the full time. That said, the workers on site were very polite, but I’m never using hireahelper again.
