These movers were the best ones we have had. They were very careful with our stuff and got them all together in our cubes. They were on time, polite, and efficient. I would hire them again.

Smooth moves did a great job! Only 3 out of the scheduled 4 were able to make it (we understand stuff happens), but they muscled through and fast to make up for it. On the hottest day so far and Mother’s Day weekend to boot!
Their communication was great and crew members were polite and friendly.
I don’t know how we would have gotten through this move without them! We will recommend them to any of our friends and family looking to move in the area!

Our experience with Smooth Movers was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. Although we paid for four movers, we realistically had about 3.25—one worker barely contributed and spent most of her time chatting and playing with our child. She was friendly, but not helpful. The team arrived unprepared and had to leave soon after starting to get dollies and basic moving supplies they should have already had.
They mishandled our belongings, dropped our washer and dryer, damaged our furniture and walls, and removed a door without reinstalling it. One mover smelled like alcohol, another wore an ankle monitor, and they all took multiple smoke breaks. At one point, they left in the middle of the job to get drinks at a gas station. They were rough with our items, pulling things out of the top of our freight trailer without a ladder despite repeated instructions. My husband eventually had to provide a ladder and assist with moving.
They didn’t complete the move—not because we cut things short, but because their time was up and we weren’t willing to pay for more labor when we hadn’t received full value for what we already paid. When the job time ended, they refused to leave until we showed them some kind of confirmation code, making us extremely uncomfortable. I had to contact Hire A Helper for assistance, and it took nearly 45 minutes to get a response. The company SMATH MOVES are the worst movers we have ever used. As a professional practitioner who have had to move several times, I have used several wonderful and courteous movers. This team is by far the worst ever. They showed up 40 minutes late and immediately became argumentative and belligerent, they were not prepared for the job , they even showed with a 12 year old minor to the job site!
They were going through personal items and taking photographs of them including our bedroom stuff and personal possessions; they were making obscene jokes and laughing and acting like drunks. These are the most unprofessional moving crew movers ever, they are more like a criminal gang looking for past time.
The lead mover who claim to be the owner of the moving company was extremely aggressive and cringe worthy. The team members spent a lot of time resting and smoking in their car, when challenged to work harder and not spend time smoking and resting in their vehicles the leader became excessively argumentative and abusive.
It got so bad we had to call the police on these movers.
We had to pay for another crew to come and finish the job. We reported this SMOOTH MOVES to the police for taking photos of intimate personal possession, we later discovered they had stolen jewelries and other valuables. The guy who claimed to be moving company owner them sent us photos of intimate possessions they had taken from our bedroom and threatened to post on social media!! These are movers from HELL !!!
WE would never use them again. We do not recommend them at all!!!!

The two people that came recked of alcohol. We had to call their boss because they only moved 4-5 boxes on the first hour. The female didn’t even work even after her boss showed up. Now they want to charge us for an additional hour. We hired a different company to unload us and they completed the job in a hour and half. I wouldn’t recommend smooth movers because I believe they are scammers.

The first man showed up around 840, then one more arrived around 9, and you could smell the weed a mile away! Then the first person, Matt, brought his 18 month old son along! He left the poor boy strapped into his carseat! It was very unprofessional, not impressed.
