Wow, BC Moving Labor was incredible! If I could give 10 stars I would.
The morning started scary when the 2 PODs I had delivered to my home wouldn’t open, they were stuck because our possessions were leaning against the roll up doors. Then Bernard arrived (15 minutes early, by the way). He had this calm demeanor and said, “we see this all the time.” Within 5 minutes he and his partner used their magic and the doors were open. It had been faulty loading and tie-down from the packing movers in Northern CA. This was my determination, Bernard didn’t make any negative comments, he was just pleased to see I was happy the doors were open!
Then they began the unload, it was amazing. Both of them were so efficient and worked at a fast pace. What really blew me away was their professionalism and knowledge of how to move furniture and stack boxes so that they didn’t clutter a room.
My wife and I are hands on and do the unloading too but a third of the way through we basically had to stay in the PODs and give location instructions for each box or piece of furniture because they were so efficient. We would simply say, garage, living room, kitchen and off they’d go with it.
They put our King size bed together in minutes and when I looked in the bedroom everything was in place the exact way we wanted it!
Within 2 hours both PODs were completely unloaded and everything was where it was supposed to be, organized and easily accessible to be unboxed.
Two last things, first we discovered the 3 bolts for our kitchen table were missing and not taped to the base. With out hesitation Bernard ran to his car and pulled out a box filled with different kinds of bolts and fasiners to help us secure the tabletop. Unfortunately he didn’t have the size but he gave me a bolt to use as an example when I would go to the hardware store. Second, we had tons and tons of the thick furniture paper protecting everything. As we took items out of the PODs this was taken off and left near the dumpster I had on site. I kept putting it in but it was getting very full. Bernard’s partner jumped in and started stomping it down as I kept adding more and more. In the end it all fit and everything looked like nothing ever was there.
I guess you can tell we had a totally positive experience with BC Moving Labor. I would use them again and I highly recommend you do so too. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Our two movers showed up early, had all of the packing stuff we needed and never once stopped until the job was done! They were kind, courteous, and efficient. They packed our house up into two pods. We had booked them for just 2 hours but they stayed an extra 3 - it was well worth the money! I would highly recommend them.
