Do Not Use This Company. They came thru Moving Staffers and Hire a Helper. Only one worker of three actually worked. We did the rest. One stayed outside throwing up in the yard. So gross. Slid the new beige loveseats across the floors to the PODs leaving them stained and stressed. Sleep Number Bed not broken down correctly ($8,000), and they put on a dolly that was too small so it cracked and was destroyed. So much more. Nightmare from beginning to end. They were not actual movers. Just bodies that showed up. Insurance offered $100 via a email. Insulting. Learned a costly lesson.

The team showed up on time. They brought additional workers and they were nice. They were young and showed what seemed like lack of experience. Our Pod was not packed efficiently or respectfully which resulted in us having to unpack a good portion of it and repack because there were random belongings just thrown in without blankets or wrapping, despite plenty of leftover supplies. When I called HireAHelper about the lack of respect for my belongings and items being broken prior to the Pod even being picked up, the response was along the lines of "you should have called us during the service instead of after they left." My answer to that? If I am hiring you for a job, you are advertising experience with a service, and I should not have to supervise your work. But, once again, you cannot trust any vendors these days to do their jobs and do them well, so when we opened the Pod the next day to pack the very last bit of items, we seen how messy it was. Our solid wood dining table was tipped up against the wall with the legs facing the center of the Pod. It was being held in position by the side of my dryer - which was not fully wrapped in blankets or clear wrap. There were 2 garage tool cabinets that had no blankets or wrapping at all and one of the cabinets we needed to repair because the locking mechanism was broken. We packed clothing in bags and bags were thrown into the Pod ON TOP of one of our industrial metal lamp's lamp shade which broke the spokes. This was a $400 lamp from World Market. There was about 4 ft worth of vertical items packed ON TOP of my brand new, glass, top load washing machine that had one blanket wrapped around it. Our white couches had wrapping, but coincidentally, it was ripped open at the edges and the edges that touched the floor caused major marks that I do not yet know if they will wash clean. There were picture frames not wrapped at all, just freely set in the Pod, underneath other belongings. Metal patio chairs on top of fabric furniture where neither were wrapped securely. Between myself and my husband, we advised the team at least 4 times that we had 1 last twin size mattress and the plastic bag covering for it was on the counter. Guess what ended up in the Pod without ANY wrapping or coverage? Yep...that mattress. Metal shelving from our garage was wedged in the side walls without any secure wrapping. Messy, unorganized, improper packing, and disrespect for our belongings. I escalated the issue through management for a refund as we had to repack the Pod ourselves which completely defeats the purpose of paying for assistance. I would NOT recommend or use this company again. I'd like to finally state that AB Moving was not the original company I vetted and chose on HireAHelper. The original company I chose did not accept the job in time and a rep called me to have another company to fill in. This company was sent to us by HireAHelper.
