Movers were courteous , but they were. 5 hour late which caused delays and interruptions to MY schedule. PLUS, THEY LEFT MULTIPLE ITEMS IN THE APARTMENT, LOCKED AND CLOSED THE BR DOOR WHICH STILL HAD ITEMS. I (74YO) had to make MULTIPLE TRIPS up/down 3 flights of stairs to retrieve EVERYTHING THEY LEFT -- AND THEY CHARGED AN EXTRA .5 HOUR "OVERTIME" FEE.. AND I HAD TO INTERCEPT THEIR DELIVERY AFTER BEING TOLD MULTIPLE TIMES ("No update"???)

Mover's response:
Hello Judy! There must be a misunderstanding. You scheduled your move for 2:00 PM. The movers arrived at 2:00 PM. You rescheduled 3 times, there is a possibility you confused your new arrival time with your previous two.

Second, we left certain items due to your rat infestation which left one of our trucks out of service due to the necessary precautions of having it sterilized meaning we were down one truck the following day. You were charged from the time the movers arrived to the time they completed your move. In order for the movers to perform at their best it is necessary to provide a clean and welcoming work environment. The movers updates us the entire time they were at your service due to the various needs for caution. Our first course of action was to cancel the service but decided we would not want to leave you stranded. I stand with our team members and know their work ethic. I am certain they would not be pleased with your comments especially with what they endured during your service. Thank you.

I am conflicted about this review because i thought 1 of the 2 people that helped me move was great, the other, not so much. But my overall impression of the company itself is less than stellar. The main person who helped me move, Harry, was hustling and moving and trying to get this move done quickly. The person who he worked with could not have been any slower and i know it slowed down the process. The move took way longer than it should have but at $160 per hour, i can see why it dragged on the way it did. In the middle of an already stressful day, i got a call from the big boss telling me that because the truck was full, i would now be charged extra. I guess i was quoted a lower price for a medium truck and instead they filled a large truck. So my question here is, you had already sent the large truck, does the fact that it was full really matter here? I felt like i was being nickel & dimed over something so trivial. Then i was told they could not leave until i approved the invoice. Mind you - they had my credit card info on file. What they really needed me to do was add gratuity, which i felt i was being forced to do in front of them. So the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't think i would use them again.

scheduled arrival was 11-12. movers arrived at 6pm, reason given was previous customer was being difficult and had more than expected. no heads up or proactive outreach was given, i had to reach out multiple times to understand what was going on. me & my bf took off work to sit around waiting all day. movers were ok. the move took only 2.5hr including a 1 hr drive (after arriving 6-7 hours late) - i paid nearly $600 for this. no discount or refund was offered at all. could not recommend them to anyone.

We are in the transportation business and occasionally things do get out of our control. We communicated the situation to you and kept you updated as we received updates. This specific customer did not have access to her new apartment which resulted in the movers waiting to unload much longer than expected and two there were more items outside of the inventory mentioned that unfortunately had to be out of the old apartment that same day. Sometimes the movers are put into situations that ties their hand behind their backs. It is a lose lose situation. We were expecting a negative review not because of the quality of our services but knowing that sometimes trying to make one customer happy might unfortunately result in the opposite outcome for the next. One thing that is not up for discussion is that is our goal is to make everyone happy. We apologize that was not your experience this time but hope you consider our services again based on the quality of the services itself and not an off day.

Your company on the other hand was not so good. On hold 3 separate times in One day for over 2 HOURS!!!! QUOTED 399.52. They got here at 8am. Perfect. Closed the storage unit at 9:45. Harry was terrific. Never introduced to anyone else. Gave them a tip. Felt Very pressured to click here sign here and no time to read or see your charges. They were here less than 2 hours and you charged me for 2.75 hours. Not happy with you at all. Could have been their Easiest move!!! 27 gal totes, one chair, one ladder. One faux fireplace. All neatly stacked, no rooms to empty. One room at my sidewalk. Zip tied all totes. First floor outdoor storage.
