Last Minute Movers - A Local Philadelphia Moving Company

We aim to do our absolute best to help every client to ensure a smooth, painless moving experience. We specifically and strictly focus on Labor Only Moving, and do not provide damage protection in any form and we and Hire a Helper notify all clients of this in writing and require them to agree that they will handle all project planning, including providing blankets and plastic to protect against damages.

Unfortunately in this case the client did not do that. When blankets and plastic are absent from a move, damages are inevitable whether big or small and we really strive to ensure that clients understand and as a result know to expect that furniture that is not protected with blankets *and* plastic is subject to damages that are beyond our control.

The client booked for 2 movers for 3 hours and requested a 3rd mover the night before. We told him that while we were confirmed for 2 movers that we would try to provide a third.

The client called us after the move was done, never contacting us at any point during the 2 hour move to tell us that they were extremely dissatisfied and were requesting a full refund. They noted that they did not provide blankets but only plastic but we agreed to offer them a full refund in the interests of customer satisfaction. This is despite the fact that no blankets nor plastic were provided for our use, directly in violation of what the client agreed to in writing. Again - without blankets *and* plastic damages of some sort, whether big or small are 100% guaranteed

The customer then immediately after our conversation in which we offered a 100% full refund came to Hire a Helper to leave the fewest stars possible. While we aim to ensure that all clients have a 100% positive experience with us we absolutely cannot control when a client fails to protect their own furniture, and without adequate furniture protection damages are impossible to avoid. We are transparent in communicating this to clients before a move begins and requiring them to agree that they will have their items covered with blankets and plastic and we rely on them to abide by the signed terms of service in order to ensure that no damages occur.
