I never even used Steel City because they wanted a detailed Work Order filled out and I had this done to me before where they charge you extra the day of the move because you did not count the number of boxes correctly or forgot to add the television...DO NOT FILL OUT A DETAILED WORK ORDER WHEN YOU ARE HIRING BY THE HOUR OR YOU WILL PAY AND PAY AND PAY. Plus, they kept trying to change the number of men and number of hours ordered. It got to a point where they wanted to send 3 men to load a truck for 11 hours straight instead of 2 men 2 days for 8 hrs each day. One man would stand in the truck for the whole 11 hours while two others worked. They only want what is best for their Company and not what is best for YOU the Customer. DO NOT use Steel City Movers because you cannot trust them to do what you have asked them to do.
