Josh and crew were early arriving and had tools and everything needed for our move. They worked hard and smart to pack us and gave extra effort to fit everything into the containers. They saved us from having to get another container by working as a team to fill every space, They treated us and our property with respect and care. We highly recommend them and would love to have them unload at our destination. We would give them 6 stars.
Just wanted to say the guys that came to help us move were exceptional! Not only were they very skilled at moving and packing the items in a resourceful, efficient way but they were kind and courteous. They consistently showed this throughout the entire move and even shook our hands before leaving and thanked us, telling us they hoped we had a nice trip and move. Seriously, they were over the top and worked so hard! Thank you for making the move so much smoother and less stressful.
J&L Movers are the bomb! Wish we would have had them in PA to load us for our move! They were here at the exact time they said they would, got all their equipment out, introduced themselves, and got right to work! Never stopped for a break, and were the most respectful men I've met in a long time. Look up hard workers and you will see Jay, Brandon, and the third gentlemen's name escapes me, from J&L Movers. I would highly recommend this company, and mostly these 3 men. Maintained good humor despite having to unload 2-26 foot trucks of furniture, heavy boxes, and a sh*toad of Christmas decorations! They treated our belongings as they would had they been their own!
The movers were late. They reported that their GPS did not provide them accurate directions and cell service is intermittent in the mountains so they were unable to call, which is very true. They were very polite and respectful of our property. They worked very hard and even worked through the rain. We would definitely be happy to have these folks help us again.
This father and son team did a remarkable job. They showed respect to us and for every piece of furniture. Could not believe how much they loaded into the pod. I have asked that they continue to be the helpers through the next two loading dates and then after storing the pods they are the guys that will unload. You have two very dedicated men that Are an asset to the Pod company.
These guys were professional and very good at their job. They packed the container we rented so well, we would have not been able to do the same on our own, so that the space was utilized perfectly. We supplied them with everything they needed so it ensured our property was adequately protected (i.e. blankets for furniture, plastic wrap to secure the blankets, rope and bungie cord) I will definitely suggest, recommend, and use them again in the future.
Great group of guys. They were about 20 minutes late, but called early on to let me know they would be. Prepared for the job, even had dolly's and blankets. Extremely polite, and very hard working. I appreciated the fact that they were very careful not to scratch floors or scuff walls. One of them broke a part of a bed and let me know immediately. Yes I would use them again.
Sparrow did an excellent job with our last minute move. They were even willing to go to a second location and unload there as well. They were quick and efficient. I would recommend to anyone.
We had recently moved into a large 3-story home and I had several pieces of furniture that I decided I wanted moved to other areas of the home and I didn’t want my husband to break his back trying to do it by himself so I hired 2 workers for 2 hours through Hire A Helper. Rates are a little expensive but I figured it was worth it not to worry. Workers arrived about a half hour late (had trouble finding the house). Both workers were young but it was apparent one had more experience and was the senior of the two workers. After showing them the job (move a large sectional couch up one flight of stairs into a loft area, swap 2 bedroom sets out- had a large log furniture bed set upstairs and wanted it moved downstairs and so the bed set downstairs had to be moved upstairs). The workers started with the couch and it was definitely a challenge for them getting it up the tight stairwell but they managed without breaking anything (small mark on the wall). Then the worker with more experience worked on taking apart the downstairs bed set while the one with less experience took apart the large log furniture set. They then helped each other swap the furniture and set about putting the bed sets back together. The problem arose when the less experienced worker did not remember how to put the log set back together. The other worker ended up helping him but they were almost out of time and asked if my husband would know how to reassemble the bed because the kid did not remeber how to... I told them he wouldn’t know anymore than them so they did their best to put it back together however, in the end it was very wobbly and unstable. My husband ended up going over the entire set and tightening everything up so it is much better. In the end, they worked hard and were very nice but I felt like I was racing against the clock the whole time (long bathroom breaks, etc just made me nervous). They got everything done and I appreciated the help even if it was expensive and not 100% put together right.
