After 7 years in business, our goal at Helpful Movers has always been to make your move as stress free as it can be, all of our crews are courteous, polite, and helpful with anything needing to be done. We always treat your items with the utmost care just like they were our own. We disassemble/reassemble furniture except reassembly of cribs and bunkbeds due to safety. We cover anywhere from Seattle to Olympia to Bremerton. We offer out of state moves and we can also supply a company truck for in state moves if needed, please call for pricing. Jackson and [so sorry - can't remember partner's name] were a stellar team. Right on time for loading and they hit the ground running. The whole 3 hours I didn't think they would be able to finish in time but their fast and efficient system plus knowledge and experience proved me wrong. They Tetris-ed everything into a 20' truck so brilliantly that nothing moved an inch for the whole 200-mile trip. Super helpful and friendly -- don't hesitate to hire these guys. SIX stars!

Kaiden and Jackson came on time and very polite. They started our move day ready to go and got our job done in under the allotted time. Kaiden was a great lead, he carried himself in a very professional and friendly way. Keep it up! I'd easily recommend them.

I hired this company to help with unloading my shipping container as well as assembling my furniture. According to their profile, they help with furniture assembly (just not cribs). I confirmed this with one of their phone reps. the day before the scheduled service and was told that furniture assembly was no problem.
On the morning of the service, I received a text message from Erskin stating that one of their teams "called out" and that they would send out someone else (I believe they may have contracted with an external party).
The helpers unloaded my pod in about 45 minutes and were caught off guard when I said I had some items that needed to be assembled. I was told by a helper that their supervisor (different from Erskin) didn't tell them about the furniture assembly and that they "don't usually do that. However, they did (begrudgingly) help out with a few pieces.
All in all they did a good job unloading but I wouldn't have used this company knowing that they don't fully provide the services as advertised.
We appreciate all your feedback, however your description of what happened never took place. The crew that came was the crew scheduled. This crew came with tools prepared to reassemble your furniture. After unloading your pod the crew reassembled a table, a credenza and your bedframe including headboard footboard and side rails. It was at this point when we went to put the slats on and they weren't lining up correct you told them to drill new holes into them. We told you we couldn't do this for safety reasons. You also spoke to a manager who told you the same thing. You then said since they were done at that point you wanted a refund for the unused 30 mins. You only booked the 2hr minimum so there is no refund of time on that which we informed you. That is the whole reason for your review. I understand you were mad that we wouldn't drill holes in your bed or refund you the time but please be honest with your reviews in the future.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will give you a call as soon as possible to get all of the details for your move confirmed and also go through your move with you to discuss any additional information that may happen for your move. Also we will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Once we arrive onsite we will do a brief walk through and then we will get started by prepping any furniture for loading and proceed to loading your Pod, Truck or Trailer.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The best way to prepare for your move is always organization, having walkways cleared for the movers so as not to trip over anything. If we are unloading a great time saver is to take post it notes label each room #1,#2 etc then as we are bring boxes in you can say that goes to room # this makes it much easier for you and saves you time and money!
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled every move there is, we do in-state, residential, commercial, industrial, out of state, in home, remodels, we also do staging as well!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
By far we love doing everything we can to take the stress out of your move, we know moving is a very stressful thing to do, so we want to do everything we can to make whatever part we are taking in it to be stress free.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our employees go through training on jobs as an extra crew member to learn everything they need to know before being sent out. It is imperative that they learn how to handle your belongings properly before they are put on as a full time member of our company.
