I was very pleased with the beginning of the process. The movers were gentle with the household items. Good packing in the 1st of 2 containers. Still didn't take full advantage the space. However the 2nd container was poorly packed and the top ½ was not used. There was outside furniture being [packed that is hard to maneuver but I didn't feel they took the time to make the items fit. There was not even a consult with me, the owner, except to say this was impossible.
When we open the containers at the destination, there was a jumble of items and I am waiting for the damage assessment.
I would next time only have the movers do the heavy stuff and I could have packed the rest!
Please note that we do not have access to any tie-downs or hook points inside the containers, so our team focuses on packing items tightly to minimize movement and prevent anything from shifting or falling during transit. Sometimes, especially with bulky or irregularly shaped outdoor furniture, this can limit how efficiently the space can be used.
