First off, I don't generally make time to leave reviews. But I need to make an exception for Marcus and R.E.D.S. Moving Labor. When we first moved to Portland 3 years ago, our stuff was moved in by an amazing crew led by Marcus, who unloaded our stuff quickly and thoughtfully and noted areas where our movers in LA could have done better loading the pod. I resolved if we ever moved again, I'd look him up, but I had trouble tracking down the company years later. So I gave R.E.D.S. a shot based on their positive reviews -- and who's leading the two-man crew? Marcus, which was a crazy coincidence. I knew we were in great hands. I had been losing sleep worrying whether a 16' truck would be big enough and how everything was going to fit, but Marcus used an otherworldly mastery of space and time to fit our weird and fragile things securely and with time and room to spare. Marcus isn't just remarkably skilled in what he does, he's also an absolute pleasure to work with who helped make a stressful time feel much easier. If you're moving in Portland, you have to call R.E.D.S. Hell, when the time comes, I'd call him here in San Francisco if I could. Thanks again, Marcus & R.E.D.S.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Customers can expect a quick confirmation call to confirm date, time and location. Any additional details needed for the job can be communicated through email or text message.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will arrive and do a walk through of the home to get a better idea what we will be doing for the day. We will lay down floor protection upon request and get right to work.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Prep work for moving is time consuming. Have everything packed and wrapped before we arrive to save time on your move. We can pack boxes and pad and shrink wrap furniture but it can add some time to the job but we are skilled and efficient when it comes to these tasks.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done almost every kind of move imaginable. Local, long distance, office. We load pods, trucks, trailers, any kind of container or vehicle used for moving we have experienced.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is all the different stuff you get to see and helping people make sure their most prized possessions travel safely from one location to the next.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We pride ourselves on our ability to load trucks and containers and being able to fully use all of the space provided.
