I booked 2 guys for a 2 hour time slot. I received an email confirmation from the local company We Haul Movers that the guys would be there between 8-9 AM. 10 o’clock comes around, no guys so we place a call. The one guy states that he has to pick up his associate and they will be 30 minutes late. 11 o’clock comes and goes no one and no one answering their phones. Finally we called Hire a Helper, the company who books these local crews who themselves hide behind the guises of numerous companies like porch.com and porchmoving.com. In the middle of the call the two guys show up at 11:10. No moving supplies and no desire or ambition to help. Most of our move we completed prior to their arrival as we only had the moving truck until 1pm. They were useless to say the least and so was the customer service rep. She skirted blame, failing to acknowledge our predicament. Worse the local owner Justin never once responded to my texts or calls and messages still marked delivered. This service is a sham/scam and avoid at all costs! They billed me $30 for 3 flights of stairs though the guys utilized an elevator $53 for moving insurance that was never offered nor was it accepted by us. Please know these are not movers and in the terms of service it says there is NO Guarantee that the crew is qualified to perform services booked. Shame on Budget Truck Rental for promoting this company as a legitimate company on their site. To this day still fighting to get my money back.

These two movers were fantastic! They arrived right on time, were friendly, professional, and listened carefully to all our requests. What really impressed me was how efficiently and compactly they packed our container — they used the space so cleverly that we even had a bit of room left over, which I honestly didn’t expect. Everything was done within the agreed time, and I couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. Highly recommend!

Sam and Josh were great! Strong and efficient. They unloaded 2 storage pods quickly as we had 1 at our apartment and 1 at a local storage facility 5 mins away. They were careful and took small breaks as I requested they stay hydrated with the heat that day. They were easy to communicate with and very personable and polite. We would definitely recommend and use them again. Thank you gentlemen!!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Customer will receive an email verifying the date and time of move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will call when we are on our way. When we arrive, we initially do a walk-through before getting started.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
In order to best prepare for your move, have all items boxed up and ready to go. If you need beds or furniture disassembled, we do not mind doing it but the move will take less time if everything is already taken apart upon our arrival.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in local labor help. We will load and/or unload any type of truck, container, storage unit, POD, trailers, etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people on a daily basis and we take pride in the work that we do!
What training do you provide your crew members?
All members have to take a standard moving training course as well as on-the-job training.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

We do not refund for any unused time.
