5 stars for the team onsite! Oscar and team did a great job on getting us packed up and road ready. Super nice guys, very polite and busted the job out like it was nothing.
The back office side left little to be desired. A week out, I tried confirming with them over the phone with no response. Three days prior, I tried again, and then daily leading up to the move with no response. Finally reached out to HireAHelper the morning prior. They could not get in touch with anyone. Try again later that evening and HireAHelper was able to make contact with the movers. Around 6pm the night before, we finally received an email from the movers confirming. The tone of the message suggested that none of the previous were ever received. This was the most stressful part of the move.

2 movers for 2 hours were booked. 1 mover showed up 1/2 an hour late then had to call his brother who lived in the neighborhood to help move larger pieces. The business owner did not pick up his phone and when I phoned Hire a Helper I waited on hold for 56 minutes. No one picked up. I could not resolve the billing with the one person who showed up. I am still waiting for a call back from the owner.
The day was a disappointment.

The guys were very pleasant and good to work with. They were very respectful of our belongings and walls and finished the job in two hours. Were late arriving which was not an issue for us and we appreciated the notice of their late arrival. Would hire them again!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Customer will receive an email verifying the date and time of move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will call when we are on our way. When we arrive, we initially do a walk-through before getting started.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
In order to best prepare for your move, have all items boxed up and ready to go. If you need beds or furniture disassembled, we do not mind doing it but the move will take less time if everything is already taken apart upon our arrival.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in local labor help. We will load and/or unload any type of truck, container, storage unit, POD, trailers, etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people on a daily basis and we take pride in the work that we do!
What training do you provide your crew members?
All members have to take a standard moving training course as well as on-the-job training.

We charge an extra 10% for same day requests.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

We do not refund for any unused time.
