Relocation with Baby Huey's Moving
We move residential, apartments, and offices. We hire trustworthy,professional,clean cut,dependable employees that passed a drug/background check. We have been moving in the San Antonio area, Austin area, Katy,Houston area for more the 10yrs. We are Licensed and Insured in case of an unfortunate accident. We supply dollies, rope/tie downs, wrap, piano dollies, and furniture pads. We also have moving trucks available upon request. . They arrived on time and worked consistently. They came with the equipment they were requested to have.We have used Baby a number of times and they always do a good job and are careful with our belongings. We'll use them again in the future if the need arises.

The guys where here just a little early. Started to work and did not slow down until they where finished. Fantastic job, will call again with no doubt.

I would not hire these guys again. Based on their reviews they must have good crews that do a good job and are knowledgeable but the crew we received was neither.
The Good
- Thomas Brown provided complementary on-site estimate for time and resources.
- Crew showed up on time.
- Crew brought supplies as requested.
- Items were wrapped / protected adequately.
- The movers were polite.
- The movers were clean and did not damage the flooring or the walls.
The Bad
- Heavy boxes were placed on lighter boxes crushing them.
- Items not packed tightly leaving space at the top of the trailer and between boxes and furniture.
- Heavy boxes placed on top of washing machine denting the the top.
- Moving bolts not placed in washing machine in preparation of move. Mr. Brown asked if we had the bolts and to be sure to make them available to the loaders so we placed them on the washing machine. The mover placed them on the floor and did not make use of them. The washing machine now makes a loud noise so we have a service call.
- Boxes marked fragile place on top were placed under other heavy boxes.
- Itemized receipt not able to be provided for the packaging materials used. When asked the movers called the office to ask them. I don't know if we were over charged or under charged and I don't think Baby Huey's knows either.
- We used Old Dominion / ABF trailer and the movers were supposed to be knowledgeable loading these. Our movers filled the trailer to the very back and left no room in the trailer for the ramp. We had to call the trailer company and wait around for them to come pick up the ramp.
- I called Baby Huey's to see what could be done about the washing machine before the trailer was picked up. I left a message and my call was not returned until after the trailer was picked up. I detailed my concerns to the person calling me and she promised me a call back. I never received a return call to address my concerns.

The two guys showed up on time. They had a positive attitude and were very careful with our furniture. They worked hard and finished the job ahead of schedule, but did so without rushing and risking damage. We were very pleased and would definitely use them again.

Felt very confident in the move of my baby grand piano and additional furniture. I was worried about moving the piano into a pod but Chris did a great job taking it apart and moving and packing it with care.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will call/text you in route to your location, set home protection down to ensure no damage to property. Disassemble your furniture/appliances. Blanket and shrink wrap them, load/unload, and full set up
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure if we need to bring any packing materials for tvs, lamps, glass tops, pictures/mirrors, or mattress covers. If not have everything off the tops of furniture. Put all important documents, money, jewelry in your car prior to our arrival, Put all personal items you want to move in one location/area

What training do you provide your crew members?
12 hours of packing with trainer, 12 hours of prepping furniture, and 6months minimum before they can become a driver/crew leader. Most of our crew leaders have been with us 5-10years.
