Apparently the day that I had scheduled for my movers, the company was overbooked or short staffed. I received a call the day before my scheduled move asking if they would be able to unload my items a day early, unfortunately I had scheduled my selected day to account for the fact that my items were being shipped in long distance and not scheduled to arrive until the day prior. Unable to unload my move a day early, I also received a call on the scheduled day of my move and was told that due to the number of jobs they had scheduled it was likely that mine would be delayed (originally had requested a 12-1 start time) No big deal until 4pm rolls around and still no movers especially when I have 4hrs of move time scheduled. A call to the company and I was informed that the original team of guys would arrive to me around 5 ( that would put a 4hr move ending at 9pm- doesn't that sound like fun?) The company then agreed to try and find an alternate team that would be able to arrive sooner to get the job started. The new guys arrived and they were great, I have nothing bad to say about them. Overall communication from the company was decent (tended to be a bit short on the phone). My major complaint is with how late my job was started and that while I was told it may begin a little late, 5hrs late seems a bit much to me. Given that I had planned the day to move, I actually ended up doing about 1/2 the unpacking and moving myself so by the time the movers arrived, I only used 1/2 of the time I had originally reserved, though the owner had no problem still accepting payment for a full 4hrs of work. If I had to move again I would probably try my luck with another company.

these movers took a truckload of furniture up a long flight of outside stairs in the blazing heat after already moving another person in the morning. It was July 4 weekend and they fit us in. I couldn't ask for better. Nothing broken. price was high compared to Atlanta (where we loaded) but I would recommend and use WPand L again for Stateboro area move.

They were on time, very thoughtful, and brought the items I asked them to bring for the work. I also used them on June 14, and they were very helpful. Particularly Derrick and Anthony. However on the 14 Derrick's helper was trying to shrink wrap my coach and dropped it three times scratching the wood floors. They needed a third person. Its hard for for a lay person to estimate time needed for a job definitely a flaw in the system.

The two helpers were on time, prepared, worked hard and very careful with our belongings. Additionally, they were engaging and courteous. I would utilize their services in the future if the need should arise.

Overall, the team worked efficiently, carefully, and within the timeframe we requested. No damage to any of our items. And they helped with a last minute request to remove some unwanted items. The only issue was they were very busy the morning of the job, and couldn't make the start time window promised, though they did keep me informed and met the revised ETA.
