The movers were amazing. Professional, efficient, extremely helpful. I will recommend to all our family and friends.

Edit to add: I was correct, it was a teenager not a 24 year old who was former military. The woman from the job just harassed me on Venmo about this review. Highly unprofessional and this behavior needs to cease and desist immediately.
I hired two movers for two hours with the clear understanding that we had a trailer packed floor-to-ceiling and large furniture that required strength and skill. What showed up was nothing close to what I paid for.
Instead of two capable movers, one man arrived with a woman and a very young man who looked barely out of high school. When I expressed concern, I was brushed off with comments like, “He’s ex-military” and “I didn’t know he wouldn’t be old enough for you.” My instincts were correct — the young man barely lifted anything beyond the smallest items.
The woman worked hard and was strong, but she could not assist with heavy furniture — which is exactly why I paid for professionals. Meanwhile, the man in charge ignored repeated requests to stop dragging and scraping furniture across my brand-new floors, leaving visible damage. To make matters worse, boxes were stacked in the most careless way imaginable: light boxes crushed under heavy ones, leaning towers ready to topple, and I actually injured myself trying to correct their mistakes.
For this, I was charged $500 — more than I’ve paid for actual licensed professionals to load up the truck in 3 hours (one additional hour for harder labor and it cost less). What I got felt like hiring some neighbors and their kid, not skilled movers. We even had to ask them to leave early because they weren’t listening or handling the job competently.
No customer should have to explain to “professionals” that heavy boxes don’t go on top of light ones, or beg them not to damage the floors while moving furniture. This was not professional service, and I would strongly warn others against booking this company. If I had gone with Two Men and a Truck, I would have gotten exactly what I paid for: trained movers who know how to do the job safely and correctly.
For $500, I expected professionalism. What I got was a complete disappointment.
It seems like this customer is trying to extort a discount out of us with this review, none will be offered.

They were very punctual. It was concerning that the laborers were injured and were having a hard time physically doing the work, albeit not for a lack of effort. They did drop & damage some items, likely as a result of the above. They unloaded the truck into piles for which area to move the items to, and mixed up thier piles, so we have been spending the last week moving items to the correct rooms/floor. They tried hard, and were friendly to us, but overall it wasn't a great experience.

We had a 26" U haul to unload so we hired We Move it through Hire a Helper. They sent 2 inexperience guys that had difficulty even lifting some of the item and had no idea how to unload. I am 72 and had to be the third person or they would have not gotten the truck unloaded.
The 2 guys were polite and tried and so my problem is not with them as they were sent to do the job. my complaint is against the company for not vetting or understanding the limitations of them.
Due to the poor service and the extra work I had to do I requested a discount to which they offered $20 off a 459.00 bill. After much discussion with the Hire a Helper rep, they gave 60.00 which was still a joke for the job.
