The guys where early and ready to go. Had a empty pod to start and completely full at the end of or 4 hrs. They worked no stop for the full 4 hrs and had a lot of oversize, heavy items. I offered to help on the big stuff but was asked to stand back and let them do there thing. All the furniture was covered to protect it and packed tight. I told them them there will be unloading us in 3 weeks so rest up.

They showed up on time but not in any kind of uniform shirt. I provided moving blankets and furniture wrap and requested them to use it on my furniture and dining room table which they agreed to, but did not do as I found a pile of moving blankets in my drive way when they were finished. My furniture is not expensive but I like to take care of what I do have and I was not happy when we got to our destination (we moved to the East coast from Missouri) and I discovered that my new coffee tables had been dinged/scratched up as well as my vintage dinning room table leaves. I wish I would have had the time to wrap up my furniture myself since some of my things seemed to be thrown in/shoved in the moving trailer haphardly and the items I packed/wrapped myself made the move unscathed. I had to fit a large house into one 26' trailer and I was hoping EJ's would be skilled in packing moving trailers, since that was the main reason I hired them because I already had most of my house packed up in boxes. My father and I had to repack a portion of the trailer so we could fit the last few things inside, and while in the end my house was moved, I was expecting professionals who knew how to efficiently pack a trailer.

Crew was on time and worked hard to the end of loading a 28' ABF trailer. They were very polite. I had a lot of stuff, so they had to pack it tightly. Some funiture did get scratched due to not protecting sides of furniture from rubbing against other objects. Stuff was packed densely, but a little haphazardly. I would have liked to supervise the loading, but that would have slowed them down. For the cost, we are satisfied, and would recommend the company and crew.

We had booked J. & Jimmie for 5 hours. They had everything done in a little under 4 hours. It was truly a black Friday special. Thanks to J. & Jimmie! Eric explained the entire process prior to the move & the move went exactly as he said it would.

They were on time, but not ready for the job. I spent a little time doing my best to explain how heavy some of the furniture was before submitting the request. I described the best I could, yet they showed up and complained about how heavy a few pieces were... stating they would have to charge me an overweight fee for the stuff I said was heavy...although it was well below the 400 lbs they ask to specify. It was late and I know they had a long day, but don't take it out on the customer. They were kind enough to let me know they did not want to come back to put the stuff back after we had the hardwood floors installed. This is a request I will certainly honor.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Our customers will get a call from one of our staff to confirm there details of their move and to introduce ourselves as the moving company that will be doing the move for them. We will make sure we help figure the absolute best route to help our customer be fully prepared move day to save them time and money on their move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
They can expect us to show up to there home or place that we are doing work at for them, to prove our 5 ?? services. The can feel confident that our company and the people that work for the company take great pride in the work they do. Our movers will be fully prepared and trained to all give 5 ?? services to them.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
There’s many things that can be done to help the move go smooth, safe, efficient which will help the cost of the move significantly. Having as many things properly labeled and boxed up as possible, in similar size boxes to help reduced boxes being damaged. Having the closes and properly paved surface/path for a truck or container to back into safely to load or unload customers contains. The less steps we take to get to the truck or container will sure help cut the time down.

We offer and have done all types of moves such as: RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL, LONG DISTANCE MOVING, LABOR ONLY SERVICES FOR LOADING CUSTOMERS TRUCKS OR PORTABLE CONTAINERS, IN-HOUSE MOVING, JUNK HAUL AWAY, FLAT RATE MOVES, PACKING SERVICES, PER PIECE MOVES, OVERSIZED PIECE MOVES.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part of doing our job as a mover is the satisfaction of getting out there in society and helping all different types of people with their moving needs. We take a ton of satisfaction in helping our customers move their furniture and items they can’t move or don’t want to move. The other plus is that it’s a gym membership that you get paid to do which is a huge plus to us ????????
What training do you provide your crew members?
We put our guys through a very detailed orientation training process to help them fully understand the way E&J Moving likes to do things. We have a training course that goes into safety for themselves with how properly lift items and different ways to move furniture properly. We also have safety courses that go through measures we have in place to protect our customers dwelling and belongings. We also have our guys trained in how to efficiently, quickly and safely get through each move safe and efficient.
