The staff from Whitesides, LLC arrived 45 minutes after their stated arrival window. We showed them the rooms of furniture to be moved and the stacks of pads we were providing. We requested that ALL furniture be pad-wrapped in the room BEFORE it was removed from the room and taken to the truck. Over three dozen moving pads were available for their use. What we found was that unless we persisted and enforced that the furniture was pad-wrapped, it simply did not happen or was only shrink-wrapped. Most of the furniture was removed from the rooms without being wrapped with damage occurring to not only the furniture, but also doorways and hallways. Packing of the truck was not well done in that not enough straps were used and many items shifted during the move. Given the damage to our furniture, we would not use Whitesides, LLC again.
