Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked this mover weeks in advance. Not once did they reach out to me. I had to call them every time to make sure we were still on. Every time it was confirmed. Day of move they’re late…..call the mover and he says he didn’t even remember talking to me!!! Even though we just spoke the previous night. And then continued to say they were actually double booked and he would be here by 1pm. I was completely okay with that…waited all day for them. 1 pm passes and NOTHING. 2pm rolls around and he says he’s on his way. 15 minutes later I get a text, not a call, saying he’s canceling and can’t do the job. I immediately call him to see if we can reschedule. He continued to ignore my calls. The absolute most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Couldn’t even answer the phone! So I told him he was a coward since he wouldn’t even answer after he led me on all day that they were coming. Made me wait all day only to cancel and not even have the respect to answer the phone to possibly reschedule. Instead of answering the phone he decided to text me stating “I’m not a slave talk to hireahelper and then said hey **** you”. Mind blowing! The “owner” messaged me “hey **** you” because of HIS scheduling mess up. 1000/10 do not recommend unless you like being cursed at and led on.

Great experience, two persons arrived on time and worked continuously until both pods were empty. Showed care for our things and propertiy.

Turned out to be a lot of work for two people. Arrived on time and got everything packed and moved to new home. Job took 8 hrs, probably needed one more person. After unloading, we found that a small desk was damaged and unusable (trying to find a similar replacement) and while our sectional sofa had the back removed for transport, the electrical plug was torn apart. ( We are waiting to see if this will be covered under its warranty). Lastly, after the movers left we noticed our new dining room table had scrape marks on the edge and crush marks from the tie straps. Again, a hard job in very hot weather for two people. Fair pricing.

Hire a Helper was great. Hooked me up with DiMura's Moving Service. They were on time, prepared and worked very hard. They were completed much quicker than I had thought. Definitely would use them again.

What a nightmare . .First a phone call at 6:30 AM from the owner Thomas DiMura saying a whole house only needing two men and 5 hours ? ? I said yes she moved there out of a one room apartment by Phoenix Movers for $500.00. He complained about getting stiffed many times before and wanted half again as much money . classic bait and switch. 6:45 two employees outside my daughter's rental home in Gilbert Arizona arguing about needing a third person when they had not even looked at what needed to be moved. I live in San Francisco and had no choice on the move day with everything packed but to pay the ransom I promise one conversation with the gangster vocabulary of DiMura and you will run not walk away but My conversation was only with the brokers "HireA Helper" I count both among the biggest mistakes of my life. I'm 72 years and have started 20 successful businesses . I cannot believe these businesses will be around much longer .
