We are family-owned and have been in business since 1984. We pride ourselves in offering the customer exceptional moving services at reasonable rates, and we never miss a scheduled move. Communication is key, so our office is open Mon-Sat from 9am to 5pm, and the phones are always answered promptly. We send polite crews, who work hard, and strive to avoid damages to your belongings. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured, and our employees are background checked. When it comes to PODS and container loading, we simply can't be beat. We know of no other movers who can fit so much in the space provided, all while wrapping and securing items to prevent damage. Our primary source of business is by referral or repeat customers who provide a rental truck for us to use for local moving. However, we also have excellent reviews on a variety of websites, including testimonials on our own website, which are generating new business for us. We pay our movers above the industry average, in order to provide them a living wage, attract and retain skilled and productive movers. We also insure them for job-related injury to protect them and our customers. This is evident in the quality of our reviews. A Aaron Glide Self Mover Service Was Amazing!
Working with John on scheduling and then with his team at our new house was Fantastic! All of the guys at the job site were top notch. They arrived on time, worked very efficiently, were kind, respectful and very strong! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to make a move. You will not be disappointed. The crew arrived a few minutes early and were extremely polite and professional. After introducing themselves they went right to work! They were patient and thorough in understanding our labeling method, and anytime they had questions about where something should go the communication was perfect. They were respectful and considerate of our space and made sure not to bump the walls or corners and helped arrange boxes in a way that made them very easy to get to for unpacking. I cannot stress enough how great this crew did, and I will 100% be calling on them again anytime I need help moving, loading, or unloading. I appreciate their help so much!

Short Summary:
Scheduling was quick and easy and set a positive tone. On moving day, a few protection and packing details were missed, and communication around space planning could have been clearer. I spent about four hours with a friend reorganizing part of the load to optimize space and add protection. I’d consider using them again if these points are addressed.

Expanded Review:
Scheduling was smooth and straightforward, which gave me high hopes. On moving day, there were a few areas that could be improved. Some furniture items weren’t placed in blankets, which left me concerned about potential scuffs during transit. One TV was packed on its side; the box recommends loading with the bottom of the panel down to avoid stress on the edges. I repacked that item to reduce the risk of damage.

I had several small pods to fill. Once a pod was closed, it generally wasn’t revisited, even though some had remaining space that might have helped later. This approach left a few items without a spot, even though earlier pods appeared to have room if they’d been re-opened.

Communication was courteous, and the team did check in; however, more proactive coordination—especially around prioritizing must-go items and revisiting partially filled pods—would have helped. A friend and I spent about four hours reorganizing to maximize space and add extra protection where we could.

Overall, the crew worked hard and the scheduling experience was excellent. With a bit more attention to protective padding, iterative packing of the pods, and earlier, more proactive check-ins on priorities, this could be a great experience next time.

Mover's response:
The crew of three present on this job has 35 years of experience between them in the moving industry. I've examined the photos brought back by the crew, which included four of the ten containers they loaded that day. I assume they were focused on the task at hand and that is why all containers are not pictured. The four pictured were full to absolute capacity, and met the standards that I expect from our team. We wish that all of the items could have fit in the space provided, but unfortunately that was not possible.

Our crews are directed to use blankets when needed to protect items from transit damage. Many blankets were used, and we are optimistic that when these containers are unloaded the items will come out in good condition. As of this time, no damage has occurred on this move.

I've reminded my crews that when it becomes clear that items are not all going to fit, they need to actively discuss with the customer to prioritize remaining items to get the most important items loaded. This is a practice we follow, but sometimes it does not become clear that space is insufficient until the job is close to completion.

We always strive to provide 5 star service to our customers, and the team and I are disappointed that we did not meet that bar for you. As you can see from our prior reviews, we have a long history of delivering at a high level. As always, we will work to learn and improve our service.

On time and ready to work, the team was diligent, strategic, careful, efficient, productive, caring, and went above and beyond with fitting everything we hoped to bring with us! They were so good- We are using them again in couple of weeks! We have moved 16 times in 20 years, this was number 17; we have had the best and less than desirable moving experiences. This was one of the best. I look forward to their expertise and effort in a couple weeks.

Great team and great job! We originally messed up on the date when we booked the help so this was a last minute request and the team was fabulous!! They showed up on time, worked their behinds off, got done early so asked if there was anything else we needed moved upstairs. Above and beyond what I asked them to do. The team was the best and also very personable and funny! :)

They were timely and prepared. They worked super hard to move us in and were incredibly respectful. They were able to move us in in half to a third of the time it would've taken us. It was great to see them be respectful of our breakables. I would highly recommend them.

Confirmation call immediately after booking to verify move details and make sure appropriate equipment, supplies, and manpower will be provided to do the job right.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

On-time arrival of a skilled crew with all of the equipment and experience needed to do a fantastic job. Our movers typically receive rave reviews, and its not an accident. We strive to provide top-notch service.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

During the initial call after booking, we will provide specific information about supplies to have on hand. We also have a checklist filled with tips on how to prepare for an efficient move with us which we can email.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have been in business for over thirty years, and we have pretty much seen it all. We excel at local moves where the customer provides a rental truck. We also specialize in loading containers for long distance shipments. Long distance moves with a rental truck can be completed on a case-by-case basis.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Traveling, meeting new people, and delivering excellent service. Nothing is more satisfying than finishing a big job and having a happy customer who provides a 5 star review. We pride ourselves on our reputation.

What training do you provide your crew members?

All crew members receive training on how to wrap and protect furniture before loading. Lead crew members receive training on proper procedures for loading to maximize space usage in the truck/container, and to secure items with tie-downs prior to transit.

Moving Equipment

Furniture dolly or straps:
Each man on the crew will have a four-wheel furniture dolly. We also provide piano boards and straps., (always included, no fee)
Hand tools for assembly:
We bring basic hand tools, including power drills, for furniture assembly. If we disassemble, we will reassemble at the unload., (always included, no fee)
Hand truck:
Each man on the crew will have a top of the line hand-truck which can roll over any surface. Upon request we will provide an appliance dolly for moving gunsafes or large refridgerators., (always included, no fee)
Plastic wrap:
We sell large rolls of plastic wrap for $70 per roll., ($55.00/ea.)
Rope:
We sell rolls of rope, as needed, for $5.00 per 50 ft roll. We also provide ratchet straps for $10.00 each., ($10.00/ea.)
