From the very start it was clear that there was some disconnect. I had confirmed via email (with a confirmation back to me) that there were two stops for my move - my current place to get my mattress and then my storage unit to get the rest of my furniture, then my new place. When the movers called me to tell me they were on their way, they said they were not told this. With attitude they said they'd come to the first place. They loaded up my items at both spots, but in no real rush (I helped them load the truck). The real problems started during unloading at my new place. First, they said they didn't know there were stairs, though it was ON THE ORDER FORM and I had already paid for the stairs. They were extremely rude about it. Again, I helped unload the truck. One of the movers was loudly grunting and yelling throughout the entire time, clearly trying to show that the move was hard (despite only having a couple of heavy pieces - and yes - this is why I hired movers as a 5'3, 120 pound girl). They were slow throughout this process as well. My couch didn't fit up the stairs - okay no problem - and the main mover was incredibly rude to me, patronizing me, calling me "sweetie"... I couldn't believe it. An already stressful situation made more stressful by being rude to me. They tried to convince me to let them take it (it's an expensive couch - I wanted to sell it, obviously), finally agreeing (begrudgingly, and acting so annoyed) to bring it back to my first stop. Sometime during this move he LOST the paperwork and when he realized this, was SCREAMING, swearing, freaking out. I was afraid to be outside with him. Finally he asked me to go with him to FedEx to sign the paperwork - 30 extra minutes out of my day that were unnecessary. I found this entire process incredibly unprofessional and honestly I would NEVER recommend these movers. They also were not very careful with my goods in comparison to other movers. My bad for not scheduling a reputable company sooner. Awful experience and I've hired movers at least 5 times in my life, cross country, local, you name it. Terrible. I let Kangaroo Movers know this and have heard nothing.

Had an amazing experience with KM. They were scheduled to arrive in the afternoon, but finished their morning job early. They gave me a call to see if I was available earlier to unload my PODS container which was appreciated and ended up being very convenient for me.
The two movers were fast and took good care of my belongings, and got it all unloaded in one hour even with my POD container having some issues with the door opening.
Would definitely use KM again.
