Showed up late - broken vehicle, was never sure if personal or company.
Less than an hour into unloading, one man walked away and never came back.
About an hour+ the owner showed up to help. I felt he was ‘testy‘ at first but didn’t stay that way. A lot of boxes were put in the wrong rooms. The legs to the king bed in the master bedroom couldn’t be found. Turns out they were in the office. They were wrapped in a green comforter with tape around it and was clearly marked on the tape “ legs for master bedroom bed”. We couldn’t find them so the bed wasn’t assembled. There are still boxes sitting in the garage that should have gone upstairs in the storage room.
We have moved 13 times in the Air Force and twice in Denver,CO. This was our 16th move in 47 years and this is the worse move we ever had. Pack Smart gave us a 10% discount for being late and took off 1 hour for the time that we only had 1 person there but of course we went way over our 5 hours -$$$$$ -because there was only 1 person for an hour but it was actually more than an hour from my phone call to
Hire A Helper -Pack Smart wasn’t answering the phone and Hire A Helper had the same problem. This was a nightmare - again, the worse move we’ve ever had including moving in an ice storm and moving to Japan for 3 years.

No call, showed up 2.5 hrs late. I hite 3 movers for 2 hrs, and got 2 movers. One definitely on drugs. They did an OK job, but were slow and got so little done. Would NOT recommend
