Delayed arrival to 5:30pm—had to find someone else. Upon initial schedule, he contacted me, pleased to have the job. I initially planned for 9am, but we mutually changed it to 1pm. The day before he called to change it to 2pm, then on the day, he changed it to 3 pm, then called just before 4pm to say they were on their way. By 5pm—no show—I called them—he was rude and unprofessional, verbally abusive accusing me of lying, saying he told me it would be 5:30 and I OK’d that—which I did not. I called to find someone locally to come help, then called him back to cancel—he said “we’re 3 minutes away.” I told him I found someone else, that he did not meet the contract obligation—he started yelling at me, accusatory. Suddenly a woman came on the phone, politely apologizing, stating that they had been working in Pittsburgh—2 hours away from me. She offered to do what they could that night—I told her I am committed to 2 hours, and will not pay them full amount for only a few minutes work. I informed them I would be reporting them to HIre A Helper—before I could do that, I received a call from HIre-A-Helper as the mover had called to complain about me. I explained what happened—they were very apologetic and understanding. I am now trying to figure out what I am supposed to do to find help to unload two freight trailers next week.

They did not show up till 4 hours late.
I did not receive a call and tried calling them. They damaged three dressers and my refer.
They told me they would give me a discount, which I did not get and they asked for a tip.

Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
