After 7 years in business, our goal at Helpful Movers has always been to make your move as stress free as it can be, all of our crews are courteous, polite, and helpful with anything needing to be done. We always treat your items with the utmost care just like they were our own. We disassemble/reassemble furniture except reassembly of cribs and bunkbeds due to safety. We cover anywhere from Seattle to Olympia to Bremerton. We offer out of state moves and we can also supply a company truck for in state moves if needed, please call for pricing. Booking with us ensures your move will be smooth and seamless.

The 2 guys from Helpful movers did a very poor job loading the stuff into the pod. They didn't wrap up the furniture before loading and my stuff got damaged during the move.. My expensive leather couch got damaged at one place. The glass curio was horribly loaded...no wrap no at all. They didn't even take out the glass shelves inside and wrap the glass doors leaving them hanging as is. The curio got scratches. My dining chair legs were scratched as well... wasn't wrapped. The study table's bottom was damaged as well. Horrible movers. I will never recommend them ever. Very poor job!
We don't often respond to reviews as most can see. After giving careful thoughts to your review of our services, I felt it would be a disservice to others if a response wasn't given. We all know that some mistakes or damages that despite our Movers best efforts do happen. I would like to point out that your items were shrinkwrapped but when you as the customer doesn't provide moving blankets to offer as a buffer to prevent rubbing also which you were warned by HireAHelper to provide then rubbing can and does often happen and this causes damage! All of our crews come with shrink-wrap to every single job at no cost to you as the customer and we also at no cost to you provide rope for tie-downs in your pod. But these parts of our service can only help protect your items so much which is why you should have had blankets. I would highly recommend the next time you move to get these to protect your items. I apologize for damages that occurred and hopefully next time it goes better for you!

A Tale of Two Helpers
Hire a Helper sent two people. One (Justin) arrived on time, was great and had a clue. The other arrived late, carried one thing at a time and gave up easily on furniture set up. Both left on time.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will give you a call as soon as possible to get all of the details for your move confirmed and also go through your move with you to discuss any additional information that may happen for your move. Also we will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Once we arrive onsite we will do a brief walk through and then we will get started by prepping any furniture for loading and proceed to loading your Pod, Truck or Trailer.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The best way to prepare for your move is always organization, having walkways cleared for the movers so as not to trip over anything. If we are unloading a great time saver is to take post it notes label each room #1,#2 etc then as we are bring boxes in you can say that goes to room # this makes it much easier for you and saves you time and money!
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled every move there is, we do in-state, residential, commercial, industrial, out of state, in home, remodels, we also do staging as well!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
By far we love doing everything we can to take the stress out of your move, we know moving is a very stressful thing to do, so we want to do everything we can to make whatever part we are taking in it to be stress free.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our employees go through training on jobs as an extra crew member to learn everything they need to know before being sent out. It is imperative that they learn how to handle your belongings properly before they are put on as a full time member of our company.
