After 7 years in business, our goal at Helpful Movers has always been to make your move as stress free as it can be, all of our crews are courteous, polite, and helpful with anything needing to be done. We always treat your items with the utmost care just like they were our own. We disassemble/reassemble furniture except reassembly of cribs and bunkbeds due to safety. We cover anywhere from Seattle to Olympia to Bremerton. We offer out of state moves and we can also supply a company truck for in state moves if needed, please call for pricing. Two men, Caden and Dan I think, did a fantastic job. Carried some heavy furniture down two flights of stairs. Also packed boxes, bags, and furniture to the very lip of a 16' POD like a perfect game of Tetris.

Dan and Justin called and asked if they can come an hour earlier which was great and they arrived on time. They did a great job and is fast and efficient. Very glad I used them. Thanks!

Hire a Helper - I didn't have any problems with their work ethic, punctuality, or their friendliness, however, only one of the workers seemed to have a handle on how to move items. He did a good job at directing the other two, but there were two accidents that happened that need financial compensation! They dropped the bedroom armoire from the edge of the truck -it landed upside down on the driveway. Needless to say, it has scrapes, dents and one wooden foot has loosened. The other item was an antique piano bench that dropped when supporting boxes were removed. The drop completely broke one leg and it will need a new leg made and assembled. He took photos of the damage, and apologised. He also indicated that someone would be in touch with me. TO DATE: NO ONE HAS EMAILED OR PHONED TO ADDRESS THE DAMAGE. This is unacceptable. The move occurred August 20th and they've had ample time to respond and compensate. PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY DAMAGES. Sincerely, Carol Kildow

The only reason this gets one star is because the younger guy did a great job and worked really hard. Were we somewhat unprepared today? Yes. Was the older guys constant complaining, condescending attitude necessary? No.

Let's put it this way, they got most of our larger items loaded, with the smaller, quiet guy doing a lot of the heavy lifting and the bigger guy *****ing about everything. We paid for 5 hours and let them go after 3. Literally the worst experience of my life.

Do yourself a favor, go to Home Depot and grab a few guys looking for day labor before you ever use this company or Hire a helper. Those guys saved our ass yesterday - after dealing with one of the worst humans I've encountered on a day when stress is already high.

I loved these guys. What workaholics! They came early because 2 of the guys finished a job early. The other 2 guys showed 20 minutes later. Both teams started working immediately. No time was ever wasted. I appreciated their knowledge, their expertise, and their can-do attitude. Their names were Carter, Ruben, Kaden, and Deion may have mis-spelled his name. In 3 months I will need the Pods unloaded, I am requesting I get the same guys! Great experience!

But we’re the best movers I have ever hired .
It is just moving is very expensive

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

We will give you a call as soon as possible to get all of the details for your move confirmed and also go through your move with you to discuss any additional information that may happen for your move. Also we will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your move.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Once we arrive onsite we will do a brief walk through and then we will get started by prepping any furniture for loading and proceed to loading your Pod, Truck or Trailer.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

The best way to prepare for your move is always organization, having walkways cleared for the movers so as not to trip over anything. If we are unloading a great time saver is to take post it notes label each room #1,#2 etc then as we are bring boxes in you can say that goes to room # this makes it much easier for you and saves you time and money!

What types of moves have you handled?

We have handled every move there is, we do in-state, residential, commercial, industrial, out of state, in home, remodels, we also do staging as well!

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

By far we love doing everything we can to take the stress out of your move, we know moving is a very stressful thing to do, so we want to do everything we can to make whatever part we are taking in it to be stress free.

What training do you provide your crew members?

All of our employees go through training on jobs as an extra crew member to learn everything they need to know before being sent out. It is imperative that they learn how to handle your belongings properly before they are put on as a full time member of our company.
