The guys worked well as a team. They did a great job of packing the POD (real life tetris) They were flexible to answer my questions and made changes I asked for during the packing process without any fuss. I would recommend them and use them again ! Thanks for taking a lot of stress out of the POD packing process :)

The two young men arrived on time and worked diligently to pack the 800 Pack Rat container. Although I specifically told the movers prior to arrival that there was heavy bedroom set on the second floor, they did not come prepared.
They did request 2 additional workers w/o my approval and then attempted to charge me extra. I refused, but paid the extra time it took. In hindsight I should have asked for a refund. It took 4 pple nearly a whole hour to move the 2 chest of drawers!! Had they used the right equipment it could have saved time and a few scuff Mark's on my stairs.
All in all, I would use them again, but I would ask more questions about heavy furniture.
Lastly the container was packed to capacity and the movers did a spectacular job utilizing all the space.

On time, called beforehand to make sure we were ready. They gave us a complete and accurate evaluation. Friendly, hard working, they fit everything into the pod with room to spare, amazing! They were very careful with our stuff, even when it wasn't boxed as carefully. We will definitely use them again.

These guys were great! Prompt, respectful, and weren't in the least upset with my house rule of "no shoes are worn on my white carpet". Great sense of humor. Helpful in every way. I tried to get them to take a break but they were going the whole time. Nothing I asked them to do was too much. They came with their own tools, wrap and tape. Pierre and Don were a great team. I would use them again for the next phase of our move.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
