My moving labor helpers, Kevin and Ron, rocked. They were on time, polite, conscientious and worked hard the entire time. In a former life, I moved furniture for a living and have an appreciation for how hard it is so I really appreciated how careful they were not to damage anything. And, they didn't. That's pretty rare in any move. There were some challenging pieces, too, like a really large solid maple armoire that had to make it down narrow basement steps. They did it, though. I would use them again in a heart beat. As a usually dedicated self-mover, I have to say these guys were some of the best money I've ever spent.

I hired MD Expert Movers to load my apartment in one area then unload it in another area (45 minutes always). The two movers arrived 15 minutes early and asked if they could start working. I said yes and that was it! About an hour later my who,e apartment was loaded on the truck, bed disassembled and furniture wrapped. These workers were professionals and friendly. They never took a break until the truck was fully loaded. Once at the new place they immediately began to unload the truck. They asked which room each item went. They reassembled my bed and left everything intact. They did a wonderful job and will be using them again when I move into my house!

Our movers were outstanding! We decided to use movers about a week before our move when I had a broken ankle that still hadn't healed and it was apparent that I wasn't going to be much help. We were able to book online with only a week's notice. The website was very user friendly. After booking we received calls throughout the week before the move to confirm details. The day of the move the weather was terrible--sleeting with a chance of snow. The movers arrived on time regardless of the weather situation. They called when they were on their way and again when they were about 5 minutes out. They worked quickly and professionally. They disassembled and assembled our king size bed, a queen guest bed, and our baby's crib along with moving living room furniture, multiple bedroom sets, and other miscellaneous items. We would use them again and recommend them to friends any day.

Very professional, friendly and fast. They arrived on time. Called a couple times on the way to let us know their status. They were quick to start unloading and moving my boxes and furniture up three flights of stairs...in the snow! I noticed they were very particular and careful with my belongings, floors, and walls, while still moving everything swiftly. I have zero complaints and would hire them again and recommend them to anyone!

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
