They were outstanding. Showed up early, and worked incredibly hard. I was amazed at how much they fit into the container. They took care to wrap and protect my pieces. I can't recommend them enough, a job more than well done.

I appreciate the assistance provided by the crew of four guys from MD Expert Movers...but to be honest we were underwhelmed by the experience. They showed up about 20 minutes after the scheduled arrival time and I didn't receive a prior call from the crew advising they were running a little late...not a significant issue, but still a little strange. Once the crew was on-site, I noticed they were not wearing company uniforms and so appeared more like some guys I hired out of a Home Depot parking lot than a crew of professional movers. They didn't take as much care with some of our furniture as they should have...and I had to step in to disassemble some furniture as the crew didn't seem to know how or care to move these properly. Luckily we have only found a few items that were scratched or damaged during the move...but this is surprising given how they went about loading and unloading. Additionally there were many times during the five hour move that the crew argued with each other and the team lead about all sorts of moving issues, i.e. how to carry a piece of furniture, what item to take next, etc. All-in-all they were not terrible...they were friendly enough and certainly helped us with our move...but I wouldn't use this company again due to this experience. A final note is that when I spoke with the home office on two occasions, the woman (not sure her name) was extremely helpful and assisted in making a last minute change...so kudos there.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
