My movers were on time. Actually, they arrived much earlier than scheduled and I was not quite ready for them. They agreed to give me a little time get ready and came back 30 minutes later. They were prepared and got to work immediately after I showed them what had to be moved. The took care to protect all of my furniture and loaded into my POD in a very secure manner. They finished work ahead of schedule and I would definitely use them again.

The movers were excellent. They moved my belonging expertly and carefully; items were placed as I directed; and they put together tables and a bed as I required. As far as the movers are concerned they rate very highly.
My concern is in the arrival timing and billing. I was advised that they would arrive between one and three as they had morning obligations. They arrived at twelve fifteen and did not connect with me until twelve thirtyish. I was charged an extra hour because of this miscommunication.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
